"Hotell Gastis was so quirky with so many books and artefacts. Our room was very small but perfectly adequate. We hired bikes and visited a small nature reserve. We also went in the Leninbadet which was an amazing experience, even with the steam room not working. It was like going back in time and we loved it. There were major building works going on outside the hotel but we couldn’t hear anything even though our room overlooked them. The roof terrace was lovely and we sat there with a post dinner drink! Drinks were expensive and we didn’t eat there in the evening, but the breakfast was really good and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay"

"Very nice hotel, nice clean room. Wonderful view, good breakfast. Nice Spa, great beach 🏝️ and bridge to swim from. Only negative note is that the surrounding buildings are not that nice. But the hotel is wonderful and so is the staff. I Can recommend. Business conference. "

"Rooms were comfortable. Location is great for a short walk to the train station. Didn't get a chance to use the hot tub since it closes early. Breakfast was delicious! "

Negatives was the crowded breakfast area and check-in experience. We were at the hotel early (3-4hours), offered us to change room for early check-in, but for a fee of 200svkr. (A bit greedy). "Everything was great but they don’t tell you that you don’t get access to the spa if you book on hotels.com I also got a parking ticket that shouldn’t have been one. Luckily I kept the receipt and the manager took care of it. When you park make sure to keep your info if it happens to others!"

"Great location right next to the highway and next to shopping center. Very busy for breakfast, kitchen personnel worked hard to keep food filled. I will definitely come back. "
