"Perfect in every way! We had a fantastic stay in this truly elegant space. The host was so kind and helpful. The location is in a lovely, tree lined street that is just minutes away from the highway but you honestly would never know it. It is close by the lovely towns of Media and Swarthmore with plenty of cute shops and restaurants. The space was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. It appears to be very recently renovated and everything felt so new and clean. It was very well stocked with high end supplies. The beds were very comfortable with cozy soft bedding. We slept great. But, the best part for me was the spectacular gardens on the property. Everything is so well kept and just gorgeous. The little table on the porch is perfect for morning coffee in the garden. We will definitely be back!"
"A very unique place. Outside looks like any house in the neighborhood, but once you step inside, it feels like you’ve stepped into a medieval castle of sorts. Amazing old world charm, and works of art and pictures everywhere. In the dining room are a lot of pictures of the house thru the years so you can see the progression. I was told the house is over 300 years old.
The hosts were great, very friendly and accommodating without making you feel like they were hovering. They serve a “cook to order” breakfast every morning. Everything was delicious, quite a few options on the menu. The place was clean, quiet and the surrounding grounds were lovely. It’s apparent that they love nature and gardening as there are many plants and flowers everywhere. Unfortunately the pool was closed due to the season, but the pool area looked inviting if the weather permits. I highly recommend a stay here. "
