"Check-in was laborious and could definitely be improved. Plenty of staff on hand in every section, all friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well appointed, spacious enough for our stay of one night. I wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel again, nor to recommend to others."

"Lovely hotel. Very easy to travel around Bilbao on the metro. The metro station is a very short walk from the hotel and only 1 stop to the old town. Hotel pool was a great plus after hot day of tourism. My only criticism would be that there weren't enough beds and umbrellas in the pool area. A few chairs would be great too."

"We stayed in the Petit Palace as a base for exploring Bilbao and the region and very pleased with the choice. The location is fantastic, on the edge of the old town. There is a train/metro station a couple of minutes away and it's a pleasant 25 minute riverside stroll to the Guggenheim. The building is old but the rooms have been well modernised with very good bathroom/shower. The staff are all helpful and friendly, we had the daily breakfast which was a good way to start the day. Our room faced the road but noise wasn't an issue and we even had a small balcony. For a city break base would definitely recommend."
