CHESTATEE RIVER CABIN is a prefect pet friendly get away close to Dahlonega

If you're looking for an adorable cabin on the river with easy access to North Georgia, this is it! The deck is literally on the river!

The cabin has updated appliances, including a dishwasher, washer/dryer, and HVAC. The one bedroom is perfect for two, and there's a queen-size sofa sleeper that can comfortably sleep two more. We love four-legged children, so this cabin is pet-friendly.

Sit back and enjoy the sound of the river, do a little fishing, or curl up with a good book! We are committed to providing a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for our guests.

The cabin features a cozy living room with a fireplace, a queen sofa bed with fresh bedding, and a lounge chair. The bathroom is a nice size with a walk-in shower. Mountain nights are usually cool, and the days are pleasant. The cable provider is Windstream, and we offer services through a smart TV. We provide complimentary Sling TV, but you can sign in to your own providers if you wish.

Please remember that the cabin is rural and has a rustic charm. Power outages can occur with storms or heavy winds. In such cases, we have an assortment of board games, cards, and fishing poles to help you enjoy your time unplugged.

The outdoor deck is almost as large as the inside, allowing guests to truly take in the private surroundings. It overlooks the river and is close enough to fish from the deck. Located at the end of a dead-end road, it's cozy and private with woods directly across the river.

It is just ten minutes to the delightful town of Dahlonega where you can buy your groceries and can even arrange to have them delivered to your car. You can also enjoy shopping at the many quaint places on the square, dine in several charming restaurants, canoe down the river, explore hiking trails galore, and find horseback riding less than two miles away. Or head downtown for your Starbucks fix. Stay for a weekend or come and hang out for a week! These locations are hard to find, and you will love this beautiful 'hideaway'.

Great winter getaway

Perfect rustic cabin for 2 in a wonderful location. Private and quiet, loved the deck overlooking the river and fire pit! A wonderfully relaxing weekend trip, highly recommend! The owner was very responsive when we had trouble with the door lock but quickly resolved.

Cute cabin in the woods on the river

We had a great stay here. In town for a wedding so we didn’t get to enjoy the property to its fullest unfortunately. This cabin is nestled in the woods and has a beautiful big deck overlooking the river. Inside had everything you would need and was super cozy. Would def stay here again!

This place is perfect to relax with such a serene deck overlooking the Chestatee River. If you are looking to get away this is the perfect spot. Cavendar Creek Vineyards is very close by and a great spot as well. The owner is great and super responsive. Highly recommended.

Nice Rustic Cabin

Perfect place to disconnect and enjoy the sound of the river. Owner is responsive if anything should arise. Feel like one with nature in this Cabin nestled at the end of a Road. Lots of wildlife, and only about 15 min from town and wineries.

What a beautiful cabin. Small, but perfectly cozy. The checkin instructions were a little dated as a new door lock was recently installed but otherwise everything was as stated. Very clean, spacious deck overlooking the river.

Delightful Dahlonega Getaway

The cabin was quaint and cozy for our needs. The surroundings and proximity to places we visited exceeded my expectations. This was our first experience staying in a cabin. We typically stay in B &B s or hotels. This was a pleasant change for us! We look forward to our next Dahlonega trip and would definitely consider staying in this cabin again. Excellent fall escape!

We booked this cabin in North Georgia, as we were expecting our new granddaughters arrival during this time 10/14-10/17 it worked out fine, but she made her debut earlier than expected, and we enjoyed the cabin on the Chestatee River, the cool temps, and the surrounding areas, enjoying family time. We would definitely stay here again.enjoyable atmosphere!
