This adorable riverside home on the Chestatee is just minutes from historic downtown Dahlonega, wineries and wedding venues. Only 7 miles from GA 400, the location is central to everything you would want to do and see. Enjoy the scenery and wildlife from the large covered deck, rain or shine. You can hear the peaceful sound of nearby rapids from the deck. Songbirds, as well as duck, blue herons, deer and the elusive river otter make an appearance from time to time. No Smoking Indoors, NO Pets & NO Parties or Events.

The house was very clean and everything we needed for our stay was provided. The home was beautiful. It was laid out perfectly so cozy and inviting. Loved spending time on the porch in the morning and afternoon. We will definitely come back again.

This was our second visit to the river house. It's very comfortable for two couples. We spent most of our time relaxing on the back deck, and the guys did some fly fishing on the river bank. We took day trips into Dahlonega (great lunch at Shenanigans) and Helen, and had a delicious, quiet lunch with no tourists that day at the nearby Unicoi State Park Lodge.

Cozy Hideaway

We loved the porch and deck out by the River, the s’mores night at the campfire, and the entire cottage itself. It was perfect place to host family over for the evening. We hope to come back!

This is a great location. The hosts thought about all the details, and they were prompt and easy to work with. What I loved most about our stay was the back porch overlooking the river. We spent hours there, talking, recharging, remembering, anticipating, planning. I highly recommend you give this place a shot if your looking to get away, be able to stay at the cabin, and have a refreshing time.

Bruce and Lisa have created a beautiful, peaceful place on the Chestatee. Comfortably furnished and decorated, immaculately clean. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Incredible!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and had an AMAZING time! The property was clean and welcoming, with amazing access to the river and town! Bruce and Lisa were so kind throughout the duration of our stay, as well. We would absolutely recommend this spot for any type of stay!

Perfect and peaceful

This property is amazing. The house was very clean and had every amenity we could want or need. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch area, on comfy and clean outdoor furniture, listening to the sound of the rushing water. We loved this place. The owner lives next door-we met him and he is a very nice and helpful host.

Nice Mountain Getaway

Beautiful property by the water. Everything was clean and the decor was as relaxing as the river. The host was gracious to stock pretty much everything you need. Host was also quite knowledgeable of the area and the history of Dahlonega. This location was a wonderful ‘find.’

Beautiful mountain getaway

Our stay was exceptionally good. Everything that was stated online was exactly how we found it. The cottage is very pretty and well maintained. It was exceptionally clean and had everything you could want. We were very happy to stay in a place that was well cared for and loved and would love to return again one day.

Cabin Getaway

This property is wonderful. The cabin has all the amenities of home with extra attention to detail. The view of the river is amazing and so relaxing. The location is great and very close proximity to downtown Dahlonega. We will defiantly look to stay here again on our next visit to the mountains.

On the river!

Very clean and efficient property on the river. Great location. We enjoyed visiting the local wineries that were all very close. Close to town for meals and visiting the local shops! Relaxing time!

Quite riverside getaway Things to do for all ages.

Dahlanega is a quite town in the Georgia mountains. This cabin VRBO had everything needed for a wonderful stay. Lots to do in the area, wineries, shopping, hiking, golf.

December visit

The cabin was just as described online. It was beautiful and very clean, which is important to me also because our stay was in December there was a Christmas tree and lots of little extras in the cabin, absolutely darling.
