Cowboy Cabin Getaway

  • This serene, seemingly remote studio cabin located on a historic ranch 10 miles west of Helena, near Continental Divide and MacDonald Pass trail system is sure to meet your needs. A cozy and clean cabin with a modest, fully stocked kitchen and 3/4 bath is sure to help you unwind and recharge. A BBQ and outdoor fire pit are located behind the cabin for your enjoyment. The Continental Divide hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing are all located close by. Great opportunities to see a variety of wildlife await you here on your next vacation.

    **UPDATED summer of 2026: TV and WiFi added.

    The cabin is located at the end of the driveway next to the main house, yet has a private backyard space. In the warmer months, an A/C unit will be ready for use in the cabin. In the winter, the road is maintained and plowed.

It was a perfect weekend getaway! Great location, short drive to town, access to a lot of trailheads. We even saw elk on the way into the cabin. Very clean and well decorated property.

Cozy one night stay

My husband and I stayed the night here for our anniversary celebration- very close to the hot springs and wassweiler restaurant which is how we spent our evening. The space was well equipped and even had locally made soap!

Spectacular

Creekside Getaway Retreat was absolutely the most beautiful location to stay. We loved the Western Charm feel of this cabin and the location was perfect. The host was communicative and thorough. We would definitely recommend this as your resting point while visiting Helena.

Great Getaway!

We went for our honeymoon. As first time travelers, we were so grateful for a place to come back to every night that had a kitchen and space for just us. We loved the views. We were worried about no TV but we had enough to do in town. Quiet and peaceful. Great stay!
