The west shore getaway on Canyon Ferry.

A cozy home on Canyon Ferry west shore that has lake front access and views awaiting you and your family and friends. You will wake up to beautiful sunrises over the mountains as well as seeing beautiful sunsets.
This cozy three-bedroom, two-bathroom lake house will accompany up to six guests with all the clean linens and towels provided.
Enjoying your morning coffee in a peaceful setting on the large deck listening to the loons and geese while watching a breath-taking sunrise. You can relax while having breakfast, lunch and dinner right there by the water or cooking by the water while using the BBQ and outdoor furniture.
There are endless activities that await you from fishing, boating, water skiing, swimming, hiking, sapphire mining, rock climbing or just relax and read a book or just watch activities on the water. There are all sorts of wildlife near and far to watch and enjoy as well.
If you are the exploring type, there are gulches across the lake to take a ride up where gold was discovered.
Helena is twenty miles away and offers several restaurants and all your shopping needs. There are daily tours of Helena and the historic alley also the state capital, the cathedral and governor's historic mansion. Helena is full of history, if you like that sort of thing.
We would recommend for young children to be supervised due to the property is a bit rocky. There are nice sandy beaches down the road for playing in the sand.
Parking is limited, no RVs or trailers.
For those with boats, Yacht Basin Marina is a mile down the road, and Kim's marina is across the lake, you will want to call them to reserve a dock for your watercraft.
There is high speed internet if people need to do little checking in for work or what have you.
All you have to do is pack a bag and bring the food and drinks of your choice. The rest is there from coffee to linens and towels.
As a kid and even as an adult I loved being there and never wants to leave once I am there. Hope you choose our lake house for your stay. I promise you will love it.

Great family getaway

What an amazing stay. The property is perhaps the most beautiful on the lake. Great fishing. Everything was there that we needed or forgot to bring. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Games and beautiful areas on the porch or inside for family time. Walking distance from schooners restaurant and the marina. Will book more stays with this wonderful host.

Perfect weekend getaway

The cabin is extremely clean and well cared for, the view is amazing from anywhere on the property, and the stars at night are breathtaking. We booked this for a weekend getaway, and cant wait to book it again for another trip. Excellent everything from start to finish

Lake Escape

The location is indescribably beautiful, almost otherworldly. We would love to make trips to Canyon Ferry lake a yearly deal, after our days there. Very well appointed, welcoming and well taken care of, family home. A special place to spend time with friends or family. Highly recommend.

First time in Montana

This property had all the amenities of home. It’s on the west shore of Canyon Ferry Lake and the view was fantastic. We loved it, 20 minutes east of Helena we got to enjoy bunnies and their babies, resident mule deer. An eagle fishing in the evening close to the cabin was something to behold. We had a great time!

This was a lovely place to rest, relax, and recharge. The house is well stocked. We enjoyed the deck, water, and local hiking. Our only concern was the lack of phone service in case of an emergency.

Canyon Ferry Lake House

The hosts were very responsive with my text questions before our trip. The bedding and towels were clean and smelled nice. There wasn't ac as stated in the ad, but it wasn't hot, so not a problem. I would recommend the hosts move the bird houses on the 2nd story. I believe they are for martins who eat mosquitos. Unfortunately, they poop all over the top deck. We couldn't use it at all. Otherwise, the stay was very nice.

Great getaway

Just what we needed to finish out the summer! Very clean and homey! Enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding on the lake! We’ve decided to visit a new lake every Labor Day weekend all thanks to this stay!

Beautiful lake view!

We booked for the location on the lake! The deck was wonderful! My girls went paddle boarding and enjoyed the lake all day. We did puzzles and played games in the evenings. Thank you!

Cabin on the water

The cabin sits right on the Missouri River, which is more a lake because of the dam. Quiet, peaceful views from the shore, deck, and balcony including incredible sunrises. Cabin was clean, has the essentials including 2 showers with good water pressure and 3 bedrooms with comfortable beds. A short drive to Helena for any shopping, restaurants and sights.

Had a Wonderful time!

House was great complete with nice cookware and a few basics. Nice linens & towels. Water was nice, thank you for having couple kayaks & life jackets for us. Driveway is VERY steep, as well as walk down to the water. Would be nice if there was even a small deck to access water better, but overall we enjoyed.

Canyon Ferry Getaway

The cabin was fantastic. The front deck just made you sit and visit and relax. Everything you could need was available. The lake was low, but we were able to dock the boat at Yacht Basin. They were also super helpful and kind. Just a perfect getaway for our family traveling from different parts of the state.

The property was great. Clean and very suitable for our needs.

It was an amazing month at this property. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Loved sitting on the deck watching the boats in the late afternoon. The house is very comfortable and well stocked. Helena is only 25 min away and there are two marinas close by.
