"We liked that we could walk to town, where restaurants were plenty, and was a very short drive to the Zugspitze.
But above all this, we absolutely love the Mountain Views, the beautiful flowers and the peace and quiet. "
"Incredibly cute hotel. Short walk to restaurants and the mountains. The best breakfast ever from cheeses to oatmeal and delightful fruit. Wonderful coffee and teas served all day. We loved it here. Our room had the best mountain view. "
"Staff are lovely, very helpful and made us feel valuable customers. Breakfast had a good selection and it was nice to see unlike other hotels that it was constantly restocked. Would happily stay here again. "
"Very central and excellent staff. Room was very tired but very clean. Shower head was broken. Reasonable beds. Very basic bunk beds and curtains falling off. It was adequate for one nights stay"

Luxury chalet directly on the Zugspitze and on the beautiful Eibsee Garmisch
10/10 Excellent
"Chalet was our most enjoyable stay of our 3 weeks traveling through Lucerne, northern Italy, Salzburg and Germany, south of Munich. From a keen eye, there is no detail spared in construction, design or comfort. This home is meant to gather family & friends. The home offers a luxurious stay, with carefully curated treats and experiences, from a crafted wine & spirits stock (to purchase), to the glorious bathtub, and the home theater system to the sauna. It's location is special and it offers a luxurious stay in the most beautiful landscape. On the edge of the town Grainau and close to Garmisch-Partenkirchen there are restaurants, markets and shopping. Sitting in the cozy backyard, you feel quite isolated even though you're very much a part of the mountain's access. You may see the cogwheel train pass but you never hear it from inside the home. The nearby cowbells lull you into a Bavarian dreamscape if you nap in the patio or fall asleep with the windows open. I imagine that it is a coveted home for skiiers enjoying Zugspitze. Kerstin was a wonderful communicator and the home manager, Mike, was readily available for questions or assistance. We could not have asked for a better stay!"
"We stayed at Quellenhof Hotel 3 times during the weeks we visited our son in Garmisch. Each time we stayed on a different floor - every floor has a beautiful view of the Alps! The rooms were always clean. Be careful to adjust the shower curtain just right or water will leak onto the floor. I encourage everyone to stay here! Ask for the bus pass while you stay. Grainau has great restaurants and shops! Beautiful village!"
"Friendly, welcoming and helpful family hosts. Clean, warm room and comfy beds with good shower. Plenty of parking. Great location for walks, Zugspitze cov railway, walks, rides and evening dining. Good quality breakfast frequently refreshed options with plenty of choice. Will return. Highly recommend."
"Beautifully maintained and immaculate apartment! Less than a five minute walk to 2 different grocery stores (Aldi & Edeka), along with a Fristo Getränkemarkt! We had a lovely time exploring the area knowing that there was a nice warm apartment to return to and relax. A restaurant next door gave a great option if we returned too late and did not want to cook dinner. The host Phillipe was very friendly, helpful and courteous. We highly recommend staying here. "
