"Robin's Oceanside retreat is situated beautifully with a spectacular view of the Salish Sea and Vancouver Island. The space is well laid out and well equipped for a single or a couple, and with many small, thoughtful touches that make your stay even more comfortable. Private and peaceful, it's a wonderful place to get away and just chill."

"This stay was great for kids as there was a playground and pool. There was A/C in the cabin units which was a plus. Some updates/renovations have been done in the units (newer kitchen). Parking was available in front of the units."

"The ocean view from our room was spectacular. Also, within a very short walk (just across the street) is a very nice restaurant that was right on the water. The room was very clean and well appointed. The balcony, although small, was a nice touch. Staff were excellent. At the risk of sounding too critical, we were disappointed with the size of the bathroom and the fact the hair dryer did not work and a light was out. But to be fair it was looked after in a timely manner."

"Convenient location on the alternative highway, but without sufficient comfort or quiet to justify the label of "resort." Staff very pleasant. Convenient parking; no crowding. Internet access effective and straightforward. Quiet in room. The curtains were thin (and the air conditioner blocked the blinds) making it suboptimal for anyone needing full dark for sleeping."

"I loved the view, the proximity to the beach and bay, the lawn between our porch and the boardwalk, (including a few resident bunnies) and the amazingly helpful, friendly and responsive staff. Daytrips to Qualicum Beach and Nanaimo were convenient, and walking distance to local shops and restaurants was no problem. We thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary use of robes in our room, and the availability of chairs to borrow for use on the lawn and the beach. And when the closest parking lot was full, it was easy to deal with valet parking by simply dropping our keys at the front desk. A delightful stay, which we highly recommend."

"We so enjoyed our anniversary stay at this lovely boutique hotel. Beautiful gardens, Well appointed room (a Villa), gorgeous dining room, and professional staff! When we bumped into it online, we new it was just perfect for us! Our dinner in the Saphire Room was certainly the highlight. It was fabulous. Excellent service and meal! We will be back!"

"We would definitely rebook our stay with Robin. We would have liked to stay longer but we could only book available days. Quiet, wonderful view, lots of birds to observe, and a great place to relax and enjoy nature. We visited the potters on the island and they were all a joy to visit with and a varied but talented group of ceramists."
