"The staff were very nice. They let me have an early check in and a late check out. The only thing I think can be improved is the lighting in the rooms: There is only one central light and the room is very dim at night. They could do with a desk light on the table. They could also do with a light above the chair and coffee table for reading. "

"The staff at Ellen Bay Inn are so friendly, and they make your stay in Antigua feel like you’re there visiting family. I had some issues with my flight changing last minute, but Ellen Bay Inn quickly responded to my email with my new details, and I felt like I was going to be looked after. On arrival, Trevor was there waiting for me at the airport with a smile, and Sharon was at the hotel waiting for me also with a smile. I felt like I was at home. "Great room with a mini kitchen. Very well-equipped. It's right next to the water, but more like a fishing launch. Gorgeous beaches within a 15 minute drive though and access to StingRay City right next door. Lovely hosts who live on property. Quiet and comfy. Excellent value. "

"I went to Antigua with my mom and sisters for a girls trip to my home country. This was the first time we stayed local and not at a resort or with family and it was the best decision because of how lovely the entire stay was. I felt like a proper Antiguan during this trip! The location was perfection in terms of beach access and tiny local shops in Willikies. The house was an absolute dream come true with high end amenities, pool, and safety. Akeem, the host, was helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, quickly tended to any concerns, and was overall just such a warm soft-spoken person. For future stayers, just know this place requires a car rental based upon where it is located in the country. I will say it being located in the hills of the countryside is perfect because it never felt too hot there with the winds and daily morning rain. We will definitely be coming back! Thanks Akeem!!! "
