"It’s about 2 steps above an hourly motel. Most of the occupants looked like individuals just getting by… with all their belongings in their vehicles and in front of the motel doors. I had to sign additional forms regarding deep fat fryers, cooking supplies, pets and daily inspections. "The rooms were clean and roomy--a little chilly when we got there. The heater warmed it up, but had a hard time controlling it. So we ended up turning it off for the rest the night. The staff was adequate, although we had a hard time understanding our check-in clerk, due to dialect. Very friendly and accomodating. Offering fresh coffee, pleasant conversation and information of the area. We were taken aback for breakfast though--a brown bag breakfast, while the site said continental breakfast. It was adequate though: a bottle of juice, a breakfast wrap, an apple and a one other item. But then again, it was right next to a truck fueling station--and people are on the go, so it was quite fitting."

"Our volleyball team stayed here for a tournament at LC State. The home is beautiful, clean, and easily accommodated our entire team. The host went above and beyond when a power outage happened, bringing us flashlights, and even provided pizza for the team when we couldn’t prepare dinner that night. Check in was a breeze and the host checked in regularly through messaging to make sure we had everything we needed. When one of my players left a personal belonging behind she promptly sent it FedEx and we received it the next day! We hope to book again next year!"
