"We had a wonderful stay at this outstanding and stunning lodge! We, as a large family, enjoyed the big, open gathering spaces, the chefs kitchen, and high-end movie theater. Our wheelchair-bound guest found the house spacious and quite easy to navigate, including the bedrooms and bathrooms. The elevator was more than big enough for the wheelchair and did not require turning around (the doors were all facing in the same direction on each floor, which makes access infinitely easier). Thank you again for a wonderful stay!!"
‘The Artiste,' Converted Railcar in DuBois!

"This was our second year staying in the train cars at Doolittle Station. Last year, we stayed in the Blue Caboose and this year in The Artiste. We prefer the Blue Caboose hands down over the Artiste. Cleaner, better laid out, and better stocked. In the layout of The Artiste, you walk into the living room, into the bathroom, then into the bedroom, and finally the kitchen. The kitchen was missing simple things like paper towels which we purchased and left for the next person. Also, no hand towels, so we used a bathroom towel. That being said, our five-year-old granddaughter loved it and that's all that matters! The breakfast car was under construction which we didn't know beforehand, but not a big deal. We'll be back next year for sure!"
