"We were late arriving but Andy was on site to meet us and we checked in immediately and even managed an evening dip in the pool after a hot few hours travelling. The pool was brilliant. Shallow enough at one end for the youngest child (3yr old) but deep at the other to challenge the older kids. "Sue and Terry are the consummate hosts. Friendly and very helpful, but respectful of their guest’s privacy. They went the extra mile to help this cyclist locate a patch kit on a Sunday: they had one! The inner tube got repaired, but, alas, the tire had a sidewalk cut. "We spent a leisurely 12 days in this comfortable home. Patricia and her family made us feel immediately welcome. The bedrooms have views of the chateau. Inside, the house is very quiet; stepping out front we were always greeted by melodic bird songs. "The farm house is in a very rural location, we were looking for a quiet situation for our whole family to come together and this was exactly what we hoped for. There really is nothing around you except fields and definitely no neighbouring properties.
