About this property

Incredible Lakefront Cabin for a Wonderful Family Adventure in Hemphill, Texas

  • Relax with your family or friends at this peaceful home away from home. Sip coffee or enjoy a drink on the huge covered porch overlooking the lake. Located inside acampground, which is centrally located mid-lake on Toledo Bend Lake with easy access to world-class fishing anywhere on the lake. Free boat ramp access. Boat slip rental with electricity at $15/night. Take in the stunning sunrises and sunsets with your lakefront view surrounded by Sabine National Forest and amazing views

    Free Wi-Fi. Bring your Netflix, Amazon, Disney, or other streaming services account logins.
    You should have cell phone service, but service will vary by carrier.

    Guests have full access to the cabin, boat ramp, swimming platform, fishing under the covered boat house, fish cleaning station, and waterfront pavilion. Guests may reserve a boat slip ($15/day). Please message host for availability of boat slip before booking. Kayaks available to rent in the campground store.

    UPDATE: Boat dock will be done by end of January 2025

    This cabin is located inside a campground, which was built in 1968 with the creation of Toledo Bend Lake. The campground has pull-through RV spaces, cabins, and houses. Many of our guests have long-term "camps" in the campground; some reside in the campground year-round, while others are winter snowbirds. The campground is very quiet and peaceful with friendly neighbors.

    Our boat ramp is only a short boat ride to Cypress Cove (bass tournament headquarters), Pendleton bridge, and the Gator Hole.

    The campground and this cabin are perfectly situated for a great fishing trip, a day on the lake, or total relaxation taking the amazing lake views in the clean country air. You can catch your limit of Crappie right under our boathouse, or visit the famous gator hole only 2 miles away by boat where you just might catch a trophy bass. We are 3 miles to the main lake by boat, and 6 miles to Cypress Bend. Sam Rayburn Lake is about 30 miles by car.

    If you need any help or have questions during your stay, please call. There will be an emergency contact available in your guest book on the kitchen table. Our staff is on hand to help in any way!
