"This was one of those places that immediately makes you feel at home. The setting was peaceful, the accommodations were comfortable, and everything was thoughtfully maintained. I truly enjoyed my stay and appreciated the warm hospitality. If you’re looking for a relaxing place to disconnect and recharge, I highly recommend it."

"Overall this place was excellent. We didn’t know they were under construction when we were coming. And while we look forward to coming back when it’s all done, it was just a shock, especially with young kids we just had to be extra aware. The lake was getting construction done as well so not a pretty view like the pictures you’ll see. The beds are kinda high and the floors are hard. Our youngest knows how to get down from a bed, but the higher bed made him hit his head on the floor. So bed rails as an option would be great for families- or bring one. That said, these beds were the most comfortable beds we have slept on in an hotel!!! Also no tv in the room. And that’s fine, again- just different. We wanted to use it for a sound machine but there wasn’t one. Also the room gets VERY dark at night! We love that! But also may want to bring a nightlight. Food was great! Staff were so sweet and helpful! I hate the library was closed when we were there too. We will be back after renovation to see this property at its fullest ! Bonus points, we saw a baby deer!"
