"The hotel itself is good, decent rooms and pet-friendly (nice feature) but DO NOT take their advice on parking and AVOID the surface lot (Vibe lot 15) that they will register your vehicle at for parking. The front desk staff at the hotel told me that they have not heard of any concerns about break-ins at that parking lot for a few months, and my window was smashed in on the first night. While sorting that out, I ran into several other people who also had their windows smashed in and items stolen from their vehicles. Walking my dog past that lot the next 2 mornings, I counted another 7 (!) smashed windows so there were 10 car windows smashed in that lot during my 3 night stay. Definitely felt misled by the front desk staff who happily registered my vehicle to park there and told me that break-ins were infrequent when I asked if my vehicle would be OK parked there. When I spoke to the same front desk staff to let them know my window had been smashed in, they said they were "surprised" and that they hadn't heard of any issues reported to them for "months". It took me 12 hours to learn of 3, and was personally aware of 10 smashed windows/break-ins over my 3-night stay, so I find it hard to believe that the guy that works there wasn't aware of this issue. DO NOT park in their recommended surface lot. "

"This motel is in a VERY dangerous area of Edmonton!! We ended up leaving and booking else-where. DO NOT stay here of you have children.. I wouldn't have even stayed if my kids weren't with me. The parking lot and building was surrounded by obviously high/intoxicated groups of ppl. My 13 year old daughter was harassed walking from our car and there is no security- anyone can just walk in! There was also blood in the bathroom on the wall.. as soon as we saw the room we left, I expressed we did not feel safe and we couldn't have our children stay somewhere unclean and where they are not safe. They still charged us $250 for incidentals and $155 for the room- they refused me a refund and have literally ghosted all of Expedias attempts at seeking a refund. avoid this place like a plague!! "

"Great place to stay and very nice host"

"The place is lovely. My biggest thing was that the sound transfer from the door to the upper or main floor of the home is nearly non existent. You can hear everything when they are on the main floor. I would suggest adding a more sound proof door and perhaps a seal on the bottom as well. But the just was great at answering all my questions and accommodating me on a few things. Overall a good experience. "
