"Cabin was very clean with many extras like coffee, coffee filters, powdered Cremora and sugar packets. Refrigerator actually had many types of condiments and host supplied a dozen eggs.!And instructions were clear cut had a load of wood, kindling, and firestarter material.Very peaceful and quiet and was perfect for just sitting back and relaxing, and doing all the things you like to do, but aren’t too busy in your normal life!"

"The owners of this property have one of the nicest places we have stayed at. The owners themselves are very nice and showed us around the farm. The house had more than ample room for 3 couples. The multiple sitting areas/pool/views were just wonderful with deer right in the yard. Can’t say enough — stayed in a lot of vrbo homes and this one is in the top tier !! Thank you again for having us !!"

"We loved our stay at the country house in Herod. The house was beautiful and more than big enough for the five of us who stayed there. The beds were all vey comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything that we needed. The land that the property is on is absolutely gorgeous. We loved sitting on the back porch watching and listening to all the wildlife."

"It is a lovely, cozy and quiet cabin however it could have used more housekeeping. I had to clean up inside when we arrived, and the hot tub needed a little wiping down as well. Also could have used more paper products like toilet paper, paper towels and facial tissue. There were also no batteries for the tv remote, extra light bulbs, shower soap, flashlight, and first aid kit. I understand this is supposed to be rustic, but it was lacking some basic amenities. Lastly, we had a very difficult time locating the cabin due to poor internet access in the area, and there was no signage down out front on the main road. We drove past it several times before we could discern that it was our rental."
