"Hotel was a great stay for our first landing ground in Crete from the states - we wanted something to relax / adjust to time change and give our 4 year old some fun - It was a great stay, great food at the restaurants. Breakfast wasn’t my fave but It was fine."

Village Heights Resort

"We enjoyed our stay at Village Heights Resort. The staff were amazing and looked after us well. The food was great, with plenty of choice to choose from, including the variety of restaurants they have. Rooms were of good size and were cleaned daily. Only downside was the bathrooms could be modernised. Good views of the sea. The free shuttle bus from the hotel to the centre of Hersonissos was very helpful. The hotel also had lots of entertainment on offer, particularly the Cretan Night, where they had live music and a dancing show. Overall, would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to relax and be away from the centre of it all."

"I had a pleasant stay. My room was comfortable and clean. The staff were very helpful. It was a great location on the strip, close to everything. Everything is within walking distance or a short drive away. My only complaint is that when you pay for half board it doesn't include any drinks or beverages. You have to pay for them. That wasn't made clear in the reservation. I was able to get the 20% off food and beverages expedia discount, but only at the a la carte restaurants. When I requested an iron and ironing board, I was only given an iron, because apparently the ironing boards were only available in the next category up room and they were all occupied. That was very inconvenient. My room keys kept giving issues and the phone in my room wasn't working, so I had to keep making multiple trips to the front desk, which got tiring after a while. The main bedroom light above my bed stopped working on day 2. The bathroom gets soaked when you shower, because there is nothing to prevent the water from splashing everywhere. There were a few of those damp/drain moth flies in the shower. Upon arrival the parking lot was full, so I had to park in a public parking area nearby. The provided parking lot at the hotel is quite small. It can only hold about 10 cars. The food was delicious. Shout out to Nikos, Malamo, Karina and Vasilis for being so courteous and helpful during my stay. They gave me great recommendations as well."
