Friendly host, Jayesh, met us upon checkin. Offered our children, to meet his 2 week old puppies! Free use of kayaks, and easy access to the beach across the road. Location within walking distance to cafe’s, pier and beach. Bicycle and walking pathway along the Esplanade.

This apartment was great for a family having a weekend away. It was quaint, but had plenty of space and a full kitchen. Its excellent location across from the esplanade was convenient and the property owner was very accommodating for our late check-in time. The unit could use a more thorough cleaning but I'd still consider staying there again. The price was also exceptional compared to others in the area.

Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft. Altes Haus im Kolonialstil mit Mobiliar aus dieser Zeit, wobei Bäder und Küche modern sind. Tolle Terrasse. Lage direkt am Meer. Sehr zuvorkommende und freundliche Gastgeber.

Lovely place to stay

This is a former barracks building. The owners have made it into a delightful hotel. The history explains the room layout. The rooms and amenities were fine and the location was great. Especially nice owners around during the day for help.

Great location and set up. Broad deck overlooking the esplanade. Go for a swim in the bay when the tide comes in in the morning.

Weirdest place I have stayed in very quirky but its great massive space air con in every room, huge TV, huge fridge all you need to cook etc.. Great location 10 metres from beach highly recommended

Bästa stället i Australien

Vi blev varmt mottagna av Lisa och Jayesh. Underbart ställe på bästa läge precis vid en badvänlig strand. Hervey Bay är mycket mer än Fraser Island. En gemytlig kuststad med trevliga restauranger och mycket aktiviteter i närområdet. Finns cyklar och kajaker till utlåning utan kostnad på hotellet. Modern inredning och gott om plats med en egen uteplats och grillmöjligheter. Hade gärna stannat längre. Barnen älskade det!

We booked top floor, with corridor to bedroom and bathroom, big balcony out the front. Was a very unique experience and not like a generic hotel/ motel room. Great comfy bed, good shower and interesting furniture and lay out.

Sehr individuell

Diese Unterkunft ist sehr individuell, da es sich um ein umgebautes altes Gebäude handelt, welches der Besitzer mit antiken indischen Möbeln ausgestattet hat. Daher sind nicht alle Zimmer mit eigenen Fenstern ausgestattet und der Schnitt der Wohnung ist sehr interessant. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet und die Lage an der Esplanade ist gut. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat am Ankunftstag auf uns gewartet, um uns den Schlüssel zu übergeben und uns bei der Tourenplanung für Fraser Island zu unterstützen.
