"A very peaceful place to stay, in a valley village outside Herzberg. Room was very comfortable. The only gripe was that on "Hotels.com" it was described (in FAQ) as having an onsite restuarant, but it turned out that this was no longer the case. The optional breakfast was good though, served in the rooms, on a tray."

"Vielen Dank an Esther und Frank Platell für ein super sauberes Haus mit allem, was man braucht. Alles was bestellt war, war auch vor Ort vorhanden (Bettwäsche z.b.) Wir hatten schöne 3 Tage mit vielen Ausflügen im Harz und kamen immer gern zurück nach Lonau. Was wichtig ist, nicht nur der telefonische, sondern auch der persönliche Kontakt war sehr positiv.Wenn es wieder mal klappt ... dann bei den Platell's "
