Fabulous family lakeside neighborhood, newly renovated, this lake house is the perfect setting for your family getaway. Enjoy all that Chatuge Lake has to offer. 6BR/3.5BA, Quiet cove, huge kitchen/dining room, spacious living room with gas fireplace, watch the spectacular sunrise from the covered deck or the cozy sunroom and open deck. Smart TVs in every room, game room with pool table, board games, big screen tv, terrace level 8-person hot tub, gas grill, firepit, boat slip available.

We leave you alone to make bunches of memories! Make yourselves at home. If you do need immediate assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re just a phone call or message away.

Adventure awaits! Western NC and North GA abound with opportunities for recreation and relaxation. Set your sights on long-range views with visits to Bell Mountain in Hiawassee (20-minute drive) and Brasstown Bald (highest point in GA, 35-minute drive). Spend the day on Lake Chatuge with a boat or personal watercraft rental from a local marina or launch your own from nearby public access. Want to immerse yourself in nature in the Nantahala National Forest? Bring your mountain bikes and ride the first-class trails at Jackrabbit Mountain (also great for hiking and dog-friendly) less than 5 minutes from the property. Fires Creek Recreation Area (25-minute drive) is another Western NC local favorite for hiking with picturesque views, swimming, and trout fishing. On the GA side, take a 30-minute drive to a waterfall hike via the High Shoals Falls Trail or make the 45-minute drive to Alpine Helen, GA for a taste of Bavaria in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Visit the outstanding local restaurants, wineries, and breweries in and around downtown Hayesville and Hiawassee for not-to-be-missed tastes of local flavor.

Great mountain getaway for all break

My wife, kids, nephew, and I (20, 14, 12, 11, 7) had a great trip up to Angel's Envy. The property was very comfortable and had plenty of room to spread out for all of us. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit, and proximity to town was great! We'd definitely recommend staying here!

The house is beautiful. The lake is quiet and the mountains in the background were perfect. The water was low because of time of year, but you can imagine in the summer it would be great.

Friends retreat

5 couples hung out all weekend. Place is clean, great views and a perfect set up for groups. Living areas are large and spacious with a wonderful kitchen. Would definitely rent again.

Lake House With a View

Enjoyed a 4 day, 3 night stay at this fantastic home. We had 5 married couples, 2 babies & a grandmother… plenty of room for a long weekend & kitchen was super big for prep & feeding everyone. I will say the hot water heater is very lacking for showers, house needs another water heater(s) & larger capacity for the number of bedrooms. Other than that, very much a repeat spot & recommendation for others

AMAZING

This amazing lake house on Lake Chatuge was a great spot for our small company to have a team bonding Company Retreat. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot. All the amenities were there and the place was beautiful. I highly recommend Angels Envy for any family or small company that needs to get out of the daily grind and relax.

Beautiful Lakehouse

Our family of 10 stayed at this beautiful lake home. The house had plenty of space for everyone, a HUGE kitchen and very well stocked. We rented a boat from a local marin a (Boundary Waters) and docked it right at the house. It was a great time and a very comfortable house to stay in for the week. Also their property manager Priscilla was excellent and a great communicator.

Family Girls Trip

The perfect location for a getaway! We had a family girls trip and we literally didn’t leave the house for anything at all and it was perfect! The kitchen is huge, providing plenty of room to prepare all of our meals. The living space was plenty big and we were able to stream the UGA game thru the smart tvs.

Lake Perfection

This was an amazing home and lake house to rent for a long weekend girls trip! The layout was perfect with multiple porches and spots to relax. We all loved the large, gorgeous kitchen for cooking meals together. With the boat dock and hot tub, we were set for a relaxing weekend with plenty of space for large group to relax and enjoy. Priscilla was very responsive and easy to work with for the few minor issues that came up during the stay. Highly recommend!!

Lovely home with beautiful views

We stayed here with a group of 12 for my parent’s 50th anniversary weekend. The house got us well, with either a king or queen bed for each couple and plenty of space to spread out during the day. Overall the house was quite clean and we were impressed with how stocked the kitchen was. The host responded in a timely manner when we had some questions and took care of our issues quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed the lake and mountain ciews from the back room each morning. We would definitely stay here again.

Simply Breathtaking

The home was exceptionally clean! We had 11 people and we were all very very comfortable! We could have had 5 more and still would have been comfortable. Hot tub was wonderful and most everybody stayed in the game room! We really enjoyed that part. I cant say enough about the view! It was breathtaking. Town was 3 miles down the road and Dollar General not even half a mile. The home had everything we needed plus some. All we had to buy was groceries! I recommend this home for anybody and we will definitely be back again. Our host Pricilla was amazing! Couldnt have asked for anything better!

Beautiful Home on Lake Change

The house accommodates a lot of people and is decorated and appointed nicely. It was very clean upon arrival and the outdoor dining area is wonderful. The neighborhood is also lovely, and the location is close to town and other amenities like Bell Mountain, hikes, and shopping are close. One downside is that there are only 3 full bathrooms with two being ensuite. So, for a large group, sharing bathrooms for showering becomes a bit challenging. The privacy for those staying in those two rooms is somewhat compromised. We made it work so all was good. The management company is very responsive and if you need anything at all they are there quickly to bring whatever you may need. Easy walk to the lake even though it appears steep in pictures. Nice quiet area on the lake with minimal boat traffic. All in all a great house for a family reunion. Thanks for a great stay.

We loved Angels Envy!

We stayed at the house for 4 nights and loved every minute! The layout of the home is perfect for a large family, like ours. The kitchen is the perfect size! We loved all of the seating areas, the hot tub and we rented a boat. It was so convenient to have the dock at the house that we could park the boat at. The views are so beautiful and relaxing. We could've sat outside forever! We can't wait to come back one day soon.

Great Summer Vacation

This house definitely goes on our family’s list of favorites and would absolutely rent again when we return to the area. The house is spacious and immaculate. Our group of 8 had plenty of room to spread out. 2 adults and 6 teens (ages 15-18). Kids loved the downstairs area and spent every evening shooting pool and enjoying the hot tub. We rented a boat and jet ski for the week - dock was very nice and easy to maneuver around and swim off of. Kitchen large with plenty of counter space for prepping and plenty of seating indoors and out for our group. We cooked every night. Grocery store 10 min away. Bedrooms very spacious, mattresses felt brand new. Small quiet neighborhood. Beautiful views of lake and mountains.
