"The Inn was in the midst of renovation & updating, but Charlie the innkeeper could not have been a better host! I use “innkeeper” because he exuded the old-style charm, service and attention to guests of a bygone era! He catered to our every need and made sure our stay was enjoyable. Will definitely go back!"

"Just what we needed for a long weekend of R&R. The cabin is clean and has very thing you need. The wood stove was perfect for the cold weekend. We will definitely be back. Lori, the host, is the best!"

"We booked this bed and breakfast for a weekend marriage conference. Before arriving we were called and told that they had to move our room to the carriage house due to a septic issue with the main manor. The carriage house is a smaller building on the property. Upon arriving it felt a bit run down overall. We entered our room on the second floor of the carriage house. It was small but quaint and what we needed. We had some difficulties with the heat the first night. We woke up freezing so we turned on our in room electric fireplace and then it was overly hot. Unfortunately there was no thermostat or way to control the temp in our room. The towels provided were very small, the shower head in the shower was somewhat broken and kept aiming the water at our feet when showering. The radiators heat made a ton of loud banging sounds at night that woke us up both nights. Most disappointing is that there is no one on staff to greet you, and the freshly made breakfast we thought we would be getting at a bed and breakfast was a self serve bar in the main house with yogurt, prepackaged cakes and bagels, bananas that were not ripe, cereal cups with milk and a fridge with microwaveable breakfast items that were frozen from jimmy deans. It left much to be desired. It sounds like it used to be much better with the previous owners. I would recommend looking into another bed and breakfast in the area even if it is a bit more expensive as you will get a better experience as we paid to go out to"

"The cabin was clean, rustic and quiet. It was exactly what we wanted for a weekend getaway in the mountains. Our host Buffy was very helpful and kept excellent communication. Thank you! "

"Cabin was clean and well cute, the hot tub was amazing, the kitchen was small but has everything you need including spices/oil (my boyfriend was able to cook shrimp scampi easily) and host was very communicative. The only downside I can think of was the furniture in the living room only comfortably seats 2, as the couch is parallel to the TV. Great space though!"

"We had a great stay. Host was extremely responsive and accommodating. The host provided needed essentials, toothbrushes, toilet paper, toothpaste, dishes, cups, cutlery, pots, pans. Bathrooms and bedrooms were great. Only negative were the couches old and some stains. Overall great place, would definitely recommend. "
