Beautiful 2BD 2BA home in small-town America

With a back patio for sitting and sipping coffee, you can enjoy the birds chirping happily all day, three of the four seasons. We’ve completely renovated this 1958 centrally-located duplex in the heart of Hickory.

A perfect blend of old and new with gorgeous refinished, original hardwood floors, and beautiful custom cabinetry. You will feel right at home with the farmhouse decor, genuine antiques, and fresh linens. The kitchen is a dream, filled with everything you need, including and old oak table and beautiful brown stoneware. Enclosed back porch is the coat drop area, but with a desk, chair, and lamp also serves as the perfect spot to get a little work done!
Several restaurants are within walking distance, and you are just a five minute drive to Lenoir-Rhyne University, the SALT Block, Frye Regional Medical Center, and downtown shopping. The Hickory Trail is nearby, spanning 10 miles across the city, and provides bicycle and pedestrian safety while connecting popular destinations and amenities.

Weekend stay

We were in town for a funeral and this was the perfect place to stay. Close to town and restaurants. Very clean and was exactly like the pictures. Would recommend this place again and again.

This place was very well priced, extremely clean, close to everything in Hickory that we needed, located in a quiet neighborhood and was so nicely appointed. We had everything we needed and including a sweet little patio! I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Needed a place for my sister and I because we were attending a graduation for my niece. This was the perfect place! It was convenient to everything! The house itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything and more that we needed!

Great communication with the host and extremely clean! Great area we felt safe. Would stay there again. I would say some things that could be added would be great like footstools hairdryer nightlight, but that would not stop me from going back and booking there again they were very minor.

Wonderful property

The property was sparkling clean, nicely renovated, and tastefully appointed. Everything we needed for a pleasant stay was provided along with thoughtful extras like cold bottles of water and coffee pods. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space; a nice added touch. I'd definitely book this unit again or recommend it to friends and family.

Moving to Hickory

I was relocating to Hickory and we opted to stay at this home versus a hotel while my place was mcoming together. Good thing we did! This home was adorable, comfortable and very reasonable. Would recommend it to anyone!itutanyonelooking

Peaceful and clean

We came to see a couple of our kids who are in town for the summer It was spotless The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well-stacked with dishes, oil, and some spices. The check-out was super easy. Nice quiet neighborhood but easy walking distance to downtown and grocery store.

Vacation from cold NH winter

We really enjoyed our stay at the VRBO as it was very in a quiet neighborhood and conveniently located (two important qualities to us). The house was immaculate and had everything we needed to relax and cook a few meals in instead of going out to dinner each night. The bed in the master was very comfortable we enjoyed the sitting area in the back and the cute porch in the front. The owners responded immediately to a couple questions and we had no issues. If we return to Hickory we will see if this rental is available.

Precious home close to LR University
