"As many other reviews have stated, the Shaded Crest is a real gem of a place with wonderful hosts. The cabin was perfect for our stay both inside and out with the other facilities including the pool and spa which were welcome in very hot weather. Everything was spotless and the hosts were not just very welcoming helpful but passed on some great advice for our onward travel. The only downside is that we only had one night there!"

"The place was charming and positioned on its own pond. The hot tub was a great addition. The only thing that kind of a set back was the amount of dog hair and lots of dust in particular above the washer and dryer unit. We got there a few hours early and the cleaning lady made us wait until 4 because she hadn't finagle cleaning it. Not sure why we had to wait since she forgot the dog hair and dust bunnies. It was still a wonderful experience."

"Mary Ann’s cabin was a great place to stay for a Labor Day holiday with friends. The cabin was well equipped with everything you need to stay away from home. The location was nice and quiet. It is in close proximity to the towns of Lake Lure and Chimney Rock where there are shops and restaurants. The towns are open and eager to have visitors back in town. I highly recommend it."
