Hello,We enjoyed our getaway. Very quiet, private and had exactly what we needed. Stink bugs were a bit of an issue but could just be that it is spring.
Nice cozy place off the beaten path. Great place to stay and enjoy the Greenbrier trail. Highly recommend!Look up Mims kitchen while there get there at opening time.
Our family goes to Seebert at least once a year. First time staying in this cabin and it did not disappoint! Location is great especially if you like your privacy! Very welcoming and cozy place!

Great location
TV and Wi-Fi were great!
For us, the location was perfect, minutes from the Greenbrier river.
We had a relaxing and wonderful stay at this cabin while we explored Watoga State Park, the Falls of Hill’s Creek and took a trip on the Greenbrier Express RR. It is located in a great area for exploring the WV mountains. We were blessed with beautiful Fall weather. The cabin was clean and cozy and had a well-stocked kitchen. The host was very easy to communicate with via email. I highly recommend staying here and hope to return next year!
Excellent little getaway, close to stuff to do but out if the hustle & bustle. We have stayed here 2 years in a row to get a break from every day like & we love it! Will definitely return.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
Very cozy and welcoming. Really enjoyed it. Super fast internet too even though there was no cell service.
Quaint, charming , clean. Neat “woodsy” decor and location very close to Watoga State Park & Greenbrier River. Small bedrooms & living area. Kitchen very well stocked. Large outdoor area with fire pit with supplied firewood. Screened in porch and outdoor area very enjoyed. Lovely hostess gifts
Enjoyed our time at this cabin. The porch and yard are generous in size and were our favorite places to be. The interior is small but functional for 3 adults. You can't beat the location for convenience, and the surrounding area was quiet and safe. I would suggest a different storage method for the bedroom with the queen bed. A narrower shelf would be better suited to the space than the dresser which is currently there. It was awkward to use, and made the space feel cramped.
Communication with the host was outstanding. The area is so beautiful and the space is wonderfully comfortable. The only thing I would say is that the photos of the place make it look a lot larger than it really is. I'm happier with a small space, so it wasn't a problem for me, but I was a little surprised.
Great little place to stay ,just minutes from the lake, Had everything we needed, Only problem since it was a cold day when we opened the door a blast of 46 degrees hit us in the face and we actually turned the oven on until it got warm . But other than that all was good

Mountain Memories
Quaint, charming cabin very close to the Greenbrier River and Watoga State Park which are beautiful. Small rooms but comfy and very clean. Well-stocked kitchen and very clean fridge. Unique "woodsy" decor inside and out. The front sitting porch and side screened porch plus the large yard with fire pit are perfect for enjoying the outdoors. Nice touch -- the hostess gifts ---Really enjoyed the wine and maple syrup.
Reminder: Follow the directions provided - NOT your GPS.... remember you're in the mountains
My best friend and I take a couple trips a year. Long weekends every direction. I found this cabin and it just gave me a good vibe. We arrived and it was perfect! Everything was in good working order. The AC was good. Quiet area and the porch and fire pit was wonderful! We both were delighted with our stay and agreed it was our best yet!
The house is tiny but very cozy and updated nicely. It was clean, colorful and had all of the things we needed for a weekend of adventure on the river. We've stayed in many vacation rentals and were totally impressed with the way this one was stocked with plenty of towels, tp, hand soap, dish soap, spices, cooking needs, etc. The only basic supply we had to buy was paper towels! Truly one of the best rentals we've stayed at in the area. We grew up in Pocahontas County and bring a small group back every Memorial Day to kayak, hike and visit our old "stomping grounds." We will definitely be staying here again!
Some basic pros and cons:
The beds were not comfortable - mattresses sink in the middle and are hard on the back - but for a short trip, they were manageable.
The screened in porch is amazing! Morning coffee time, watching the squirrels and birds was so peaceful out there.
The fire pit even had wood provided!
Outside chairs would be a nice addition by the fire. The one that was there had a large fire ant nest living in the cushion. So maybe some simple benches or wooden chairs for sitting around the fire, but we brought ours since the pictures showed the fire pit without them.
I can't say enough about the supplies that were provided. When you're hauling kayaks, hiking gear, etc. it is so nice not to worry about squeezing those things in.
The cabin was very nice and clean. Great neighborhood. The only thing that really needed some attention was one of the bedroom doors would not close. We enjoyed our stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed the coziness and charm and natural surroundings of this property! Excellent preparation for the trip was given, and the location was convenient to interesting sights. The owner and contact staff are friendly! Cheerful and comfortable decor! Thank you!!!!
Location worked out perfect. Only issue was lack of cell coverage which is out of the owner's control. Owner did make us aware of the issue in advance, so we were prepared. Just to be safe, bring an old school paper map!
