Decent price. Have a road side room 100ft away snd there seems to be a sump pump running under my room every 2 minutes. Should make for an intetesting nights sleep
The room was filthy. Gross dirty. I did not stay because of the filter. Spit on the windows, built up dirt along the walls, the shower, the registers and the floorboards.
no telephone, no clock, thin towels, no maid service, loud clunk every 45 minutes when the sump pump turned off, no refunds, blanket had cigarette burns
room was musty old and dirty rusty radiators, toilet seat loose and needed screws tightened, water from faucets was milky bedding uncomfortable(pillows) Would not stay there again parking lot needs to be repaved (almost fell on the alligatored surface. Had to apologize to my wife for taking her to such a place. It ranks #1 as the worst place we've been to in our 76 years.
Office area had a bad oder, no coffee in the office or the room, 1 half roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, freezer was clogged with frost/ice, placard for restuarants had a sticky substance on it, noise from adjacent room all night, poor internet access, A/C control knobs missing had to unplug to turn off, limited TV channels, noise from semi trucks driving by, no ice machine, out dated bathroom, unknown vehicle parked overnight with a man sleeping in it then drove off before daylight, no security on-site, no phone in the room, heat was disabled to the room, no outside ashtrays and parking lot littered with butts
Looks like no maintenance has been done since the 1960s. No decor, lots of rod noise, dirty shower mat. No internet offered, if it existed at all. Wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.
I guess for the price, you get what you pay for. That being said, I read on previous post the place was dated, I don't mind dated, but it was also dirty, the water smelled like sulfur. The curtains didn't completely cover the windows. there was a short in the nightstand lamp. the linens and towels seemed dated, as well as poorly patched/ caulked walls and trim. We reserved 2 nights, but after finding a baby cockroach on my pillow, we left immediately a night early. couldn't wait to get home to shower and wash everything, including our luggage.
The first room I was given had dirt between the sheets as well as something pink spilled in them. Soaked through to the mattress pad. I could tell they had not been changed. I politely asked for a set of clean sheets as I believed one of the beds had been overlooked. He said he will come change them. Then when he came down to see he agreed they were dirty and just gave me a key to a different room….SAME THING HAPPENED….one of the beds had dirt from feet and food crumbs in the sheets!! When he walked by the new room I called him in to see that bed. He agreed that it was dirty and his wife would come change the sheets. She did…AND THEN PUT THE DIRTY BLANKETS BACK ON MY BED….the room was dirty and the bathtub scary. I also woke up to a cockroach party in the bathroom, I was able to kill one of them and brought it to the office. The lady just looked at me when I told her about the condition of our room. She did offer a dismissive apology. I am sure this happens often here. I paid $80+ to sleep with cockroaches and someone’s booger (maybe poop) on the wall in front of the toilet. Bummer….
