Everything about this place was beautiful, cozy, and welcoming. We had a few questions during the stay and the property manager was very quick in getting back. Definitely coming back!
this place is so beautiful! We came here for one night and it was so worth it. Beautiful scenery both outside and inside, the decor in the house makes it feel so homey!! Cell service was great, so no wifi wasn’t bad, plus we like to unplug when it comes to vacation. Will definitely be visiting again!!
A wonderful stop on our trip up to Northern Virginia to meet family for thanksgiving. Perfectly located about mid-way on our trip -and just off the interstate, but quiet and secluded, making it a perfect overnight stop.
Cute cabin! Cute cows as neighbors, too! We enjoyed our stay. We ended up bringing an extra person and had plenty of room to add a twin air mattress to the loft. The back yard is very sloped so if you bring a dog, keep that in mind. There is plenty of room to walk dogs below the houses on the flatter grass. There is parking for two cars, but one spot is also very sloped. Definitely a repeat stay if we are back in the area. The host was very responsive!
We were just in for the night but had a great stay at the cabin. The location is private and the property is beautiful. The hot tub was an amazing amenity and was very clean. We would definitely stay again and recommend!
This cozy cabin was perfect for our group of four. We appreciated dogs being welcomed! The location was beautiful, and we enjoyed the serene property, the creek for wading and fishing, the hot tub, relaxing mornings on the porch, and fun activities nearby. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again if we come back to the area!
Absolutely loved our stay there! Getting there we got the whole experience with a deer running in front of us on the road. Easy to find, ample parking but is up hill. Place is just like the photos. What you do see is the memories you'll make, the good nights sleep youll get and you don't hear the beautiful stream. It was awesome guys. Everything works in cabin, great communication with management, stars twinkle at night and wake up to the birds singing. BOOK NOW!!
The property is amazing, as listed. Very clean and perfect layout for our kids to enjoy. The creek was a great back up nature experience. Catching crawdads and local fish in cups, along with the family cold plunge. Great spot for a week’s stay or just passing through on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Will be back again of going through. Host was right on point with questions as well.
Instead of gift giving we decided to have a Christmas getaway. We had quiet relaxing time at your cabin. It was extremely clean and very secluded. We loved the grounds and walking down to the fire camp area in seeing and hearing the creek. We will definitely be back, thank you for allowing us to stay at your property.
Each year, we travel to the mountains for our anniversary. Mountain Melody was perfect. The cabin was very clean and the accommodations were welcoming. It was quiet and we enjoyed the hot tub. The location was perfect because we were halfway between Floyd and Mount Airy. A perfect romantic getaway spot.
This cabin was lovely. Just as described. The decorations were adorable. We loved the porch/deck with squirrel/deer watching. The bed and pillows were amazing! Will be back!
This cabin was just as it was described and more! Lovely setting. Incredibly clean. The property manager made sure that we had everything that we needed. I highly recommend this property!
Absolutely Perfect Accommodations. Everything was Wonderful & Extremely Clean!
We will be back with even more Family & Friends!

We had a great trip visiting Mt. Airy and spending time outside on the lovely grounds with the cabin! The creek was wonderful, chairs, fire pit—all made for a very fun time!
Cozy cabin in a tranquil setting. Great place to unwind! One of the cleanest places we have stayed (and we’ve stayed in many places). We’ve stayed here on several occasions and it has always been a great experience. Rebecca is always very communicative and responds really quick. We ate most of our meals in, but we did venture out on a couple of occasions. The Barn Cafe’ in Hillsville is a must try! They are open for breakfast, brunch, and lunch (from 7:00 am to 3:00 Monday through Saturday—closed on Sunday). The food was absolutely delicious, reasonably priced, and wait staff was super friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back soon!
We enjoyed a relaximg evening ay the cabin. Watched as 4 deer walked by down the moutain. Rocked on the chairs on the porch. Nice. Secomd time there. Thank you to the hostess for being so nice to me in getting this place. Quick note. We noticed the therostat said new batteries needed. Worked fine for us.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful relaxing cabin. Everything was so nice and clean and we had everything we needed in the cabin. We loved the location. So peaceful and quiet. I highly recommend this to anyone and when we come back this way we will definitely stay here again. We really enjoyed our stay!
