If this sounds like you, then what are you waiting for, make your escape to ‘The Apple Shed’, situated overlooking the Tamar River in the small semi-rural residential settlement of Hillwood
Hillwood, located approximately 25 mins north of Launceston, and a further 20 mins to the town of Georgetown and  historic Lowhead.  Previously a traditional orchard area with links to farming and agriculture,  today the area boastsquirky rural style wineries, local farmgate fruit stalls, fishing and boating, walking trails and the impressive Hillwood Berry Farm, where you can hand-pick your own produce.  
Located close to the banks of the magnificent Tamar River, you will find our purpose built retro style, low level, wooden, ‘Apple Shed.’  With two bedrooms, modern bathroom,laundry facilities, open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area it is the ultimate relaxing getaway.  Adding to the comfort of our guests there is a wood heater and reverse cycle air-conditioner.  Outdoors, enjoy your own private spa on the open deck, providing scenic views across the river and beyond, or sit and relax indulging in the simple pleasure of a fine wine or a morning coffee
