Nice walk or drive 1 mile to beach park, downtown Hilo and Famous Hilo farmer’s market. Just 2 miles to Hilo Airport (ITO), 40 minutes to Volcanoes National Park, 1 hour to Mauna Kea and 1.5 hours to Kona airport (KOA). Epxplore nearby Rainbow & Akaka falls, boiling pots, Liliuokalani & Tropical Botanical Gardens. Excellent Internet, wifi 200 mbps.

Our Kailani studio condo offers an open concept living and sleeping space for up to 2 people. As you enter the studio, you will find yourselves come into a peaceful and relaxing slice of Hawaiian paradise. It includes a romantic canopy bed with chiffon draping, plumeria and Hawaiian turtle (honu) wall decors. TV is loaded with Merrie Monarch Festival hula dance, Hawaiian music videos for your enjoyment under our designer planned mood lightings. Private lanai overseeing swimming pool is furnished with sitting chairs and table for outdoor relaxing. Brand new kitchen appliances and spotless clean new bathroom amenities are added bonus to your stay. The kitchen also features Cook Real Hawaii cook book by Hilo local boy, celebrity chef Sheldon Simeon!

Your host will make the best effort to accommodate you for any service requests. Upon arrival, entering the property, you will be greeted by soothing hula dance and Hawaiian music/chant on the TV, set up by your thoughtful host, as a welcome aloha for your trip to our traditional Hawaiian town Hilo.

The complex features swimming pool, tropical landscaping, washer and dryer amenities on site.
This is the best located accommodation in Hilo. It is just walks away from beautiful Wailoa State Park, where King Kamehameha Statue is located right in front of Hilo Bay. Minutes from the airport, farmers markets, golfing, downtown shops and restaurants. Hilo bay, Liliuokalani Park and Gardens, Coconut Island, Richardson Beach, Rainbow Falls, "Boiling Pots" are just 10 minutes away. 25 minutes drive to Akaka falls State Park. Volcano National Park is just 45 minutes away.

(Note: For family of up to three, a full size Folding Bed with Trundle and Mattress can be provided at request, with no additional cost. Please be aware, the space will be somewhat crowded with the folding bed setup in the living area.)

Nice For A Short Stay

We were very happy with the studio for our stay in Hilo. It was clean and close to the downtown, restaurants and shopping. Also a short drive to the airport. Located on the quiet side of the island.

Great communication and pre check-in information from the owner. The condo is well appointed, decorated very nicely and the setting is very nice. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again my next trip to Hilo.

We were very happy with the accommodation. Linda’s instructions prior to our arrival was spot on. The studio interior was excellent, quiet neighborhood, parking was a breeze. The location is easily accessible to the areas we visited. I definitely would stay here again.

really nice place

We enjoyed it for a week. It was as represented in the pictures or better, had everything needed for comfort, was close to MANY nice restaurants, convenient to downtown, next to the bay, had a nice pool, and the owner response was immediate for any questions we had. A nice place to come home to and relax after a day of exploring the big island.

This property is like walking into a home, it was beautifully and very well maintained. Unfortunately we didnot use the pool area due to the number of birds around the property, GPS found it hard to locate the actual entry point. Was very clean and plenty of everyday supplies and very well decorated, enjoyed our days there.

Centrally located to great eating places. The studio was extremely clean. Directions to find it were challenging. Ducks were in the community pool and pool did not appear to be clean.

Not descriptive enough

This place has no A/C and nowhere on the description does it list this. I came to Hawai'i to be comfortable, not stiffled nightly by humidity. The owner refused a partial refund for a 2 week stay after I expressed not wanting to stay here. I didn't expect a full refund, but at least half would have been nice. Never again using this app or service.

Beautiful condo

Linda's condo is beautifully decorated and has everything you need: bed, bathroom, porch, tv, fully stocked kitchen, pool. Linda communicates quickly and goes above and beyond to make you feel special. It is very close to everything in town. Just know that there is no air conditioning. We were fine with the fans on and doors open, but good to know ahead of time.

This is a, Virbo apartment on Expedia, it’s on the first floor in a complex. I reviewed the list and that has now been changed. When we arrived at the parking lot per the address we couldn’t find the apartment. The place is likes a maze!!! It’s not a hotel as we thought. There was no check in area! We had to call the owner of the property several times to find the property. This is not what we were looking for, The description did not properly describe what what our accommodations would be. Since we couldn’t see the complete set up the policy of losing our total payment for a six night reservation was a ripped off.

The room was nice and clean. I saw one cockroach the first day. I really needed quiet but the person above me was stomping and dragging things across the floor from 8:30 pm to 2:30/3:00 am. This was a Sat. night. Also very loud fireworks were set off at night in the parking lot behind the unit. There is no AC so it was quite hot at night. First floor unit so did not feel safe with screen doors open. No lick on screen doors and they were not in best shape. The location is not quiet. Couple arguing all night the first night (Fri.). The complex was probably nice in its day, but looks run down. The room itself is nicely furnished and amenities like coffee and kitchen equipment were great. Few minutes’ walk from grocery store and restaurant/pub was convenient. I would not rent again as I needed sleep for a tennis competition and I did not sleep much both nights.
