    This is a multi-family friendly home, totally remodeled in 2022/23, allowing privacy and separation with dual kitchens and living areas. The backyard is very spacious including the pool area, eating/grilling area (with awning) and covered porch. A new screened in back porch sits off the master bedroom. In addition to new landscaping, there is a pooch and people washing area for your return from the beach. Beach carts, beach chairs, beach towels are provided for your time at the beach and exciting outdoor games when at the pool. Have you every played Yard Yahtzee? Updated furnishings throughout the home , all beds are king and queen, and so much more! This is not only a place to enjoy the beach or pool, but a place to unwind and relax indoors.

    Heating Pool
    Pool can be heated, Late April-May and September-October. A heating charge will be applied if you want to heat the pool. Please notify me a week prior to your visit to turn it on. It is a heat pump heater so it may not heat to 85 degrees in cool/cold cloudy weather. But, it makes a comfortable difference!

This is a beautiful, well-maintained home! It is exactly as described on the site. Lots of pool and beach toys, plenty of towels, great location and close to the beach. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. They even had goodies for our dogs! The cottage extension is adorable and completely self-contained. Marty was very prompt and clear in his communication. We highly recommend 44 Folly Field!

Incredible stay in Hilton Head! Our multi-generational family stayed at this property for a week in May and had an amazing time. Everything in the home was well thought out, there was plenty of space for 8 adults and two toddlers and all the basic amenities (and then some!) were provided. The property was very close to Folly Field Beach, but we found ourselves spending most of the time at the house to enjoy the pool. We had very few questions/issues, but Marty was super responsive for all our concerns and needs. This property and the surrounding area are beautiful. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we were back in Hilton Head. Thank you for an amazing week!

Wonderful rental home for our family vacation to HHI. Loved the quick walk to the beach each morning then relaxing in the pool after. My daughter loved the loft bedroom and claimed it right away as the room she would be sleeping. The screened in porch off the primary bedroom was another great area to relax. Perfect vacation!

Great house for family and friend vacation

Great property, great common place, has a nice pool, only a few minute walk from the beach. Very quiet area. Easy communication with property manager, easy check in and check out. Have stayed here twice with my family and would recommend to anyone for a nice stay.

Family Vacation 2025

This property was perfect for our family trip. 5 bedrooms, great in size and accommodating. Large family room, large dining area, outdoor Pool, cleaned twice during our visit. Close walk to Folly Beach. Made our first visit to Hilton Head a true pleasure and hit with the family. Memories were made.

Beautiful home, well equipped with high quality everything. Very close to the beach so it’s an easy stroll to get there. Clean and comfortable furnishings throughout the whole property. Even the gardens were neatly manicured and lovely. This is a place I would return to in a heartbeat. Our family really enjoyed this property and all it offered. This was our first time on Hilton Head Island and it is just beautiful and a place we’d go back to for sure.

Fantastic property and perfect location

This property is absolutely perfect for extended family to stay in one house but also provides some privacy and separation. The hosts have thought of everything that you might need and provided it. Loved the location and walkability to the beach and bike paths. The cleanliness was outstanding as well and every detail was taken care of. Would definitely stay again!

Great place for a family

The house was easily able to accommodate our family of 9. Family members had their own room and the pool was a great place to relax and build family memories. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. We will book the place again when we visit Hilton Head in the future.

Great house in perfect location

Our family had a great time at the Folly field beach house. The house was in a great location about a 5 minute walk to the beach. The house was perfect for our family of 8. It was very clean and had all the amenities. The house is even better in person than pictured and great for our two dogs.

Amazing time!

We absolutely loved our stay at this house. Communication leading up to the trip was amazing - Marty made sure we had all the info that we needed for check in and for enjoying our stay. He was available any time that we needed him (which was never) and made sure our stay was comfortable. The house was fantastic - quick walk to the beach, amazing pool and amenities, and comfortable living spaces and bedrooms. We loved it so much, we are already planning when our next visit will be. Can't recommend the place enough - thank you!

The host was quick to respond to our questions. I will rate the property giving it a 10 out of a 10. Walking distance to the beach with all beach items supplied by the host to include beach wagons, toys, boogie boards, sand toys, umbrellas. There is no need to bring anything else except your cooler. The layout of the house was designed to give full privacy to those staying there. We had a total of 8 adults and 4 children ages 6 and less. It fit our needs perfectly. The pool is three steps away from the back door. The best kept secret is the screen in porch off the master bedroom. I used it to escape many times for a nap or to read. Our son and his wife flew in from Chicago and the airport is only 5-7 minute drive from the house. Our experience renting this property was nothing but wonderful and what our family needed for vacation. We will be renting it again. They even included an ample supply of beach towels as well as bath towels galore. The beds slept really well and not a cheap mattress at all. Some of the best sleep that I have had in awhile. I really can't say enough good things about this property as it fit our needs to a tee.

Terrific Beach House

Home is immaculate and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals for a large group. We chose to cook 5 of the seven nights we stayed. 4 bedrooms and baths for plenty of privacy and a fabulous dining/living area to gather, eat, play games and just enjoy good company. 10 min walk to beach - home has plenty of beach chairs, towels and two beach wagons to help haul your stuff. The pool provided a fine finish to each day. Perfect place for an extended family. We will be back!

Wonderful stay!

The house and hosts were fantastic. We had family fly in from all over the country and the house worked out great. The kitchen was probably the best stocked kitchen I've ever seen at a rental. It was well organized and had everything we needed to make our homemade meals throughout the week. The house had everything we needed from games to towels to blankets. The place was very comfortable and we felt right at home. The communication with Marty and Andrea was great. They responded quickly and were great to work with. I highly recommend this place and these hosts!

Family Getaway

Every summer we gathering the family together somewhere on the east coast. This year we chose Hilton Head Island. This place was the perfect house for our family of 10. The set up of the house was perfect!! One of our grandson’s had two online classes for school and the loft bedroom was a perfect place! The pool and all the beach gear was so appreciated along with the station at the house to rinse the sand from the gear and the beach. The kitchen area was perfect and having the mini kitchen in addition was very helpful in preparing meals for 10 people. The house is located a short 5 min walk from the beach!! This house is a 5 star place!!! If our future family vacations lands in Hilton Head we would most definitely stay here again!!!! A 5 STAR VRBO!!!!!!!

You won't find better!

I just have to say we LOVED this house from start to finish! We traveled with friends & kids from all over (LA, Nashville, Lexington) and it was so nice not to have to pack everything under the sun because of how equipped the house was. They had everything you need for the beach- carts, chairs, towels etc. The house itself had everything you needed as well! They even provided each bathroom with a makeup towel which was such a nice touch. The house was super clean, had a great layout, and was a 5 min. walk to the beach! I think every day we talked about how much we loved Marty as a host and the house itself. We are definitely planning on booking again, couldn't imagine staying anywhere else now after having such a great experience!

A wonderful week with my kids and their families. This property is a 5 star property with “little” amenities that mean so much to families who fly to Hilton head.
