Here is a brief description of our our home:

First floor: Here you have your garage plus heated pool. Your garage and pad can fit up to 5 vehicles. (Garage has Ping Pong Table and all Your Beach needs:)

Second floor: Consists of 1 bedroom with king bed and full bath. There is an open concept kitchen with family room. Oversized sliding window doors with access to the balcony overlooking the pond. + iMac & Keurig Coffee Maker.

Third floor: Here you have the Master Bedroom with king bed, Master bath on-suite & private balcony overlooking the pond. Also, 2 additional bedrooms: one room with a queen bed and one room with two full beds; Full bath with tub & Laundry Room with XL washer & dryer.

Fourth floor: One large bedroom with 3 bunkbed sets = 6 twin beds (Kids Zone:). Full bath. 2nd room: 2 queen beds & 1 queen sofa sleeper.

**All rooms have HD TV’s with digital entertainment access, Highspeed WiFi.

Sandcastles by the Sea is one of the youngest seaside communities on Hilton Head Island. Located about mid-island between Marriott Surfwatch Resort & the Westin Resort right off Folly Field Road. There is no shortage of things to do in the area :)
It is just a short walk or bike ride to it's nearest beach, Folly Field Beach. Old and young alike are sure to be pleased by our beautiful white sandy beaches and relatively small crowds year-round.
Chaplin Oceanside Park is located a mere .08 miles away and houses a multitude of tennis courts, basketball courts, bike trails, baseball diamonds, and soccer fields, as well as a playground, dog park, and restrooms. Finally, when the day starts to draw to a close, why not top off the day by enjoying some of the finest waterfront shopping, dining, and entertainment on the island at Shelter Cove Towne Center, just a short bike ride or drive down the road (2.4 miles away).

I'd Give It 10 Stars If I Could!

This property is beautiful, clean, and well-located. As well as a pool at the house, it is just a straight walk to the beach of just a few minutes. The house is totally equiped with beach and pool toys, wagons for transporting stuff to the beach, and lots of beach towels. The inside decor is over-the-top. The kichen and bathrooms are well-stocked with everything you need for your stay. The view out onto the water pond is beautiful and restful. Many of my family members spent time just sitting, reading, and enjoying the beautiful weather. It was truly a vacation that was restful but fun, with lots of local activities. The property manager is very helpful and friendly. Everything about our stay was wonderful. Highly recommend!

As Expected and More!

Communication from Josh (owner) was excellent from start to finish. He provides an open-line of communication and promptly responds to your questions. At one point to the end of our stay the microwave breaking kept tripping, we informed Josh and within an hour he was at the residence providing a new replacement. The residence was clean, sanitary, great condition and well stocked with everything one would have in there own personal home. We have stayed at many locations over the years and this rental provided more amenities than any other prior. Ages that stayed were between 2 year and 70 years. I highly recommend this destination as your next stay.

Love love LOVE 98 Sandcastle!

We had the most amazing stay! The house is so close to lots of things and just a nice walk to the beach. Everything was stocked and all the pool/beach accessories made it so nice for us. We named the alligator George and the kids loved watching him and the turtles. The pool is amazing! We had the absolute best time and would recommend 98 Sandcastle for your HH vacation!

Beautiful home, relaxing stay

The owners, Josh and Julia, could not have been more hospitable. The home and kitchen were extremely well equipped. The house is less than 10 minutes walk to the beach. We really enjoyed the private pool, the balconies, and hanging out on the very comfy couch :) Nice sized bedrooms and all necessary linens were provided. We will definitely be back to this home when we come to Hilton Head next time!

Fantastic Family Getaway!

We were a group of 9 adults and 9 kids and this house was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked and the bunk bed room was absolutely loved by the kids. The pool area had plenty of seating and the pool being covered gave us some much needed break from the sun rays. The garage was excellently stocked with beach gear which we took advantage of. Josh answered all our questions quickly! We will definitely be back!

Family reunion trip to Hilton Head

Overall, a wonderful trip! House is very clean and just as pictured on VRBO site. Location to the beach was great and a very pleasant walk/ bike ride (exactly as described in the listing). Neighborhood is very charming. The best part of the rental, was working with the owners. From start to finish, they were extremely responsive with any issues/needs (as in coming to the house in person in minutes to take care of our request). I would highly recommend renting this property and working with these owners again! Thank you!

Amazing Beach House!

This house was amazing and perfect for our family vacation, which included 10 adults, 4 kids and 4 babies! The owners were fantastic even before the property was book, and were so accommodating, including giving us four highchairs and four pack-n-plays for our stay. House was pristine and very clean. The walk to the beach was only 10 minutes and made it so we didn't have to pack up cars and pay for parking! They had so much included in the property for us to use, including an extra refrigerator and freezer in the garage, plenty of pool toys for the kids and wagons/umbrellas/toys for the beach! The bedrooms were perfect for our separate families, and the kids' room was fantastic for the four older kids! This house has everything and more that you would need or want in a vacation site for the beach!

We absolutely loved this property. Great setup for a large family. Good size, very clean, close to the beach. This house is adorable and has everything you need. Owners did a great job outfitting and decorating the home. We absolutely appreciated the beach gear, towels, extra refrigerator/freezer in the garage, and the kids bedroom was phenomenal. The bunk beds are spacious and the toys and spaces are great. Added bonus … great owner who is extremely conscientious, polite and responsive. I would definitely recommend this property.

Great space for extended families.

The Host was welcoming, responsive, and kind. Our group included 3 generations of 11 adults and 5 kids ranging from 4 months to 67 years old. We loved the house! It was beautiful, just the right size, and was very well stocked with everything we needed. The only thing that wasn’t ideal for us was the distance from the beach. While it was only a short walk, parking was available, and the host provided many items to make the trek as easy as possible, we enjoy being a little closer. We would definitely consider booking this home for future trips to HHI.

This was the best place we have stayed at for any vacation. The house was very comfortable and well maintained. The kitchen has anything you could want or need and the pool area is amazing. The beach is just a short walk away. Would definitely recommend staying here for your family vacation!

The process was simple and the house provided everything we needed. Josh was readily available in case there were any issues. Of course there weren’t any! Would rent this again.

Gorgeous house with plenty of room

Decorating of this house is the best I've ever seen. It was really clean and didn't feel like an overused rental property. Pool area was perfect too. Elevator was a little tricky to figure out how to use but incredibly helpful for our older family members who can't easily do stairs. Owners of the property were incredibly responsive, accommodating and friendly. We had originally booked this trip for June of 2020 and had to reschedule because of the pandemic and they were very flexible with us. Everyone said it was a fabulous vacation!
