The unit is updated and the interior was clean. You cannot beat the location! It was pretty well stocked with basic items. Many of the beach items were damaged to the point that they could not be used (rusted beach chairs, beach wagon with a missing wheel). The bunk bed was unstable and all of the mattresses were a bit too firm (for our preference). The host offered to have someone come out and inspect the bunk bed, but that didn’t seem necessary as the wobbliness of the bed was more of nuisance rather than a safety concern. While the blinds in the room are nice, curtains would help with the light from the exterior hallway outside of the front bedroom. The grounds were well kept but there are a ton of huge spiders, so be careful. Host was quick to respond to messages, which I appreciated. They do not send the door code until exact check in time (4 pm) which was inconvenient, as our group was traveling in separate vehicles and had to check message from host while driving in order to get the code. This is the first I’ve experienced this, as most hosts I’ve used send the code the morning of.
