"Vi bodde på dette hotellet i Himara sommeren 2024 og hadde et veldig hyggelig opphold. Hotellet ligger fint til med fin utsikt over deler av byen, og ikke minst mot sjøen. Rommet var kurant og fungerte godt for oss. Det vi satte aller mest pris på var balkongen, hvor vi gjerne spiste frokost mens vi nøt morgensolen og utsikten. En annen favoritt var uteplassen ved resepsjonen og baren, som også hadde en nydelig utsikt mot sjøen – perfekt for morgenkaffen. Det som virkelig gjorde oppholdet...

"Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und war zu jeder Zeit erreichbar. Als wir die Wohnung nicht auf Anhieb fanden, hat er uns mit einem Videocall hingeführt. Die Wohnung liegt in der oberen Etage und ist über Treppen erreichbar.Sie ist nicht sonderlich groß, man hat aber alles, was man braucht: Bad mit Waschmaschine und Dusche, gut ausgestattete Küche, Schlafzimmer und einen kleinen Balkon mit Tisch und Stühlen.Leider gab es keinen Parkplatz, der zur Wohnung gehörte. "Came during off season, had a wonderful time. Hotel staff was super friendly and helpful. The wifi was a bit slow so we couldn’t watch tv during our stay, but other than that everything went well."

"The welcome from Albi/Alby was appreciated and very friendly. We arrived late and tired after a long journey and he was extremely warm, friendly and helpful. Our room was fairly basic but very clean, had an excellent view and was cleaned every day. We had no iron or ironing board and very few clothes hangers but these were provided on request, no problem at all. The pool area was very peaceful and sun loungers were very comfortable, so we spent some time there and found it very relaxing. The private beach area for the hotel was just over the road and perfect for a relaxing time at the beach. Parking in the underground car park was ideal and easy to navigate. The hotel was ideally placed, close to restaurants and cafes, with more options further on in Himare itself, which was only a 10-15 minute walk away. If we return to the Albanian riviera in future, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Blue Wave Hotel again"

"Beware the family room! There are two kinds of family rooms in this hotel - nice new airy bigger ones and smaller darker ones. The pictures online show the two single beds in the new room - with lots of space behind the beds, even a chair. Our room was the small one and even though I pointed out that it didn’t match the picture which is why we booked it, there was nothing they did. They offered us an extra night but that wasn’t useful as we already had further travel plans. They then said that they would get back to me regarding a possible refund but I haven’t heard anything."
