"The room was clean, but the mini fridge was left unplugged and someone left food in it so it continued to make the room smell horrible. We had to wait a while at the front desk, because the lady was outside and didn’t hear the bell ring multiple times. Didn’t like that the door was a key. So if there’s more than one person staying and someone left and the other stayed, the other was locked in basically. Upon arrival, the reception was very friendly & welcoming.
The room at the rear with a balcony was spotless and fresh.
Breakfast was very substantial and we had evening meals within the hotel, which were good valve for money and very filling.
All the staff were very friendly and welcoming which made our stay (4 nights) very memorable and pleasant.
The village by the hotel was very peaceful and tranquil, we had a walk around each day after breakfast.
We would definitely recommend to stay or just stop off at this wee hidden gem if you are in the area."
"Only stayed for 1 night on way through, a quiet location, lots of space to sit and relax, catered for young children as lovely garden area and a small play room. The bed was very comfortable. Sofa bed for my son was very hard and not so comfortable but fine for 1 night. Friendly staff"
