They gave us adjoining rooms and early check in - it was such a treat! The rooms were clean and tidy. The elevator on one side was broken but there was still plenty of access using the other elevator. I think it might’ve been nice if there were some spots saved for hotel guests only. The parking lot tended to be filled in the evening for the casino when they could’ve parked in the huge casino side of the building.

We had a good 2 night stay at the Grand Casino in Hinkley, Mn. For the most part our stay was great, but only 2 eating establishments were open and the site said at least 4 places were open. Also, we didn’t feel the rooms, especially the bathroom, were clean. Surfaces were okay but the shower door was quite dirty and the bathroom and shower floors as well. I could wipe the dirt on the shower door off with my finger and the glass I could also wipe off with my finger. We would go back, but I will definitely check those two things before I would remain.

Our reservation with an outside vendor was having issues, but the staff was amazing and made us feel welcome and happy. Beautiful hotel, super clean. My bed was a bit lopsided, and the breakfast available was super expensive for us. We probably would stay again when traveling through, though

Overall, assessment of the property and staff, I found no disappointments. I only tried one food venue and it was very good. The hotel room was top notch and I will reserve a hotel room there in the future.
