I am currently travelling in Hiroshima, Japan and I woke up this morning knowing only one thing: I needed to go on a hike. I went to Mitaki Dera, a temple hidden outside of Hiroshima, only a short train ride away. This place is absolutely magical. Wandering through the trees, up stairs and rocks, to the top where you get a magnificent view of the city. On the way there are hundreds of Buddha statues, shrines, and waterfalls. I couldn't think of a better #WeekendGetaway

The room was small, but efficient and for the price we paid, excellent value. The bar/lounge provided excellent views of the city. The main floor restaurant had excellent food and by how busy it was, that was no secret. Would definitely stay here again.
