"The hotel is situated about 10 minutes from the centre of Bologna. It’s an easy walk and means you are in a much quieter area. We stayed in the Residence building which isn’t part of the main hotel building. The room was nice and big, plenty of space, the bathroom was small but adequate. If you are a bigger person or you struggle with movement, you would definitely struggle with the limited space. The shower was small and the shower tray filled up very quickly, although it didn’t leak out as we were quick. I would also add that the walls and ceiling are paper thin! You can hear everything. I really struggled to sleep so I would recommend ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. We were on the first floor and we could hear the front door opening and closing, people talking all the way up the stairs, their doors closing, people moving around in their rooms, the bathroom noise, you really can hear everything!! The breakfast was fine, nothing particularly special but perfectly adequate. The surroundings are beautiful. The courtyard is lovely and on a nice day, you can have your breakfast outside. I probably wouldn’t stay here again but it is in a good location and it’s extremely clean with very nice staff."
