Sheraton Raleigh Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I stay at this hotel every month when I travel for work. While I have some complaints about the rooms, I still choose to stay here for price and convenience. None of the things I mention are so bad to deter me from staying here. There is a Marriott nextdoor that I stay in as well if it’s cheaper at the time.
The location is convenient in downtown Raleigh, and there are many restaurants nearby. There is a restaurant and bar within the hotel, and they have a cafe in the mornings for coffee.
Parking is across the street, and it’s $20/nt. There is a public garage directly adjacent to it that has free overnight parking, unless there is an event.
The rooms are generally very clean, and the bedding is always fresh and comfortable; but it is time for a refresh. The bathroom could use a remodel or a deep clean of the shower head, tiles/grout, caulking, and walls. This seems to be consistent for all the rooms I’ve stayed in here. There have been a few rooms where the thermostat did not work. Despite being set at the lowest temperature possible (64*), it didn’t get any colder in the room. One room was HOT all night during the summer. The hot water took 15 minutes to come on in one room. I waited for it to get warm for 10 minutes before I relented and showered with freezing cold water. Thankfully, at the very end, some warm water came through to warm me up just as I was finishing. This was a one-time experience in one room, though. I still choose to stay here despite these things.

"This was a 2 girls concert getaway, and it will absolutely be our go to for Raleigh area in the future. Great street parking, walkable to restaurants and nightlife, and breakfast in the AM before checkout. We wanted to stay another day!"
"The Guest House was the perfect spot for a quick overnight. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, house and room were clean. Great snacks and common area. Will definitely stay here again! "
