"Just returned from a four-night stay at Summer by the Shore. Our group consisted of four youth athletes and two parent chaperones. This property was suitable for our needs—a place to eat, prepare for the following day's competition, and lay our heads. Check-in and entry were a breeze. The home was in order and the linens clean. It's located in a safe and attractive neighborhood that made for pleasant evening walks. There is a very nice gated (key provided) community beach just a moment's walk away. The South Norwalk (SoNo) downtown district is close and offers a variety of good dining options. Can't speak to the night life, but I sensed that it might have a pretty good pub crawl vibe after dark. Overall, although the home is a bit spartan, it was adequate for our needs. The host may wish to consider adding a few board games and a deck or two of cards to the closet. A larger screen TV would be a nice addition. The kitchen accoutrements could use some updating. Also, the ceiling smoke alarm just a few feet from the stove top—that needs to go. That said, all in all we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home for those looking for a budget friendly place to stay."

"Everything was great! We didn’t interact with our host but he left us notes with everything including WiFi, and where he left the key to our room. The room was cozy and perfect. However, the one downside to our stay was that there was no ac in the our room and it was very hot and humid the entire weekend. No fan or anything. It was a bit uncomfortable to sleep at night. If there was at least a fan in the room this would’ve been an excellent stay."

"Overall, the Inn is a nice place. It’s a little dated, but clean and comfortable. My only note is that anyone sensitive to fragrances might want to alert the front desk ahead of time so the cleaning staff doesn’t fog the room with FaBreeze. We were overtaken by air freshener when we opened the door and had to air the place out for several hours - windows open and air conditioner running on a 95 day. Regardless of that speed bump, we would definitely stay there again. Fair price for a good landing pad."

"10/10 experience - I did not want to leave! Everything was perfect; the space was beautiful and peaceful, communicating with the owners was prompt and friendly, and the surrounding area was lovely. I cannot recommend this house enough. I will be back!"
