"This has been my go-to hotel whenever I visit SLC--over 25 years. It never loses its appeal. Quiet, beautiful & close to the Big and Little Cottonwood canyons. There is an excellent creekside walking/running trail across the street. Good local services and restaurants nearby. The Residence Inn is close to a handy freeway entrance. So it's about15 minutes to the University of Utah and 20-30 minutes from downtown or the airport."
