Ice fishing, free fishing in several lakes), sea trout (from about March 1), crabs (the famous Hitra crabs and troll crabs are a delicacy), hunting opportunities (deer and stag, September-December). There are great diving opportunities around Hitra. Swimming, bowling and organised trips to the fish farm in Fillan (approx. 40 km). 25 km to 9-hole golf course.
