The boat parking and ability to charge in a secure area was a huge factor for us! If you are looking for a place to stay bringing a boat to fish this is the place hands down!! No frills but a clean comfy place with everything you need.

I’ve been on several trips to Lake Chickamauga and this is by far the best accommodations I’ve stayed in. Great location just minutes from Chester Frost ramp. Staff is very friendly and provide advice on lake and fishing conditions. I will definitely be going back.

Decent room, poor service

There was nothing wrong with the room itself. However, they did not send the gate code ahead of time as promised. When I arrived on site during their business hours no one was there and the place was locked up. I tried calling, but no one picked up and there was no voice mail message. Fortunately, while I was working with Expedia to try to get my money back, they did finally return my call and gave me the information I needed. It's not a big place, so there's no reason they can't do a better job of making sure they've communicated with their guests. MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR CODE 72 HOURS IN ADVANCE OF YOUR STAY.

Talkin Tackle is a gem. Perfect location for a weekend on the lake. Clean, comfy, and effortless check-in and checkout. We walked to the nearby diner for breakfast. We’ll definitely return!

Great little place, especially if you are a fisherman. It is attached to a bait and tackle shop and guide service. The room was clean and adequate. There is a downstairs common area for use as well

Perfect Stay for Lake Chickamauga

Had a great stay with the folks at Talkin Tackle. Staff was wonderful and facilities were perfect for a Lake Chickamauga fishing trip. Rooms were spacious and very clean. The tackle shop guys were super friendly and will provide tips and places to go to ensure you catch fish. Loved the garage parking for an extra 25 dollars especially in late June. Awesome trip and highly recommend.

Needed a place to stay for a few days while working in town. This place is fantastic, super friendly & clean. High end mattress was amazing and the mini split a/c was better than any hotel I've stayed in. Do yourself a favor and try this place out. I can't recommend it enough! Has a nice community area to eat at and the tackle shop is loaded.

Had a great time. We weren't there for fishing, but for a baseball tournament near by and this beat staying in a hotel in every way. It sure did make me want to be fishing though! Store next door is real nice and I might just have to come back for a fishing trip next time!

The location was perfect for us. It is close to homes of our family. A very dog friendly location! Coffee was ready every morning. It is important to keep in mind that this is fishing lodge. So if you are not morning person the extra movement in the morning might not go over well. We enjoyed the friendly staff and prompt response to any questions or needs. We will definitely be back!!
