The hotel was in a great location, it was just about 10 mins outside of the city but with a grab or moped easily accessible. I recommend this place 100% for your stay in Ninh Bihn! "Out of everywhere we stayed during our two-week trip around Vietnam, Happy Tam Coc Ecolodge was hands down the best. The property is stunning—surrounded by towering limestone cliffs and lush greenery, it feels peaceful and secluded, yet still super close to everything. Bich Dong Pagoda is just a five-minute walk away, and most tourist spots are only a short scooter ride. What really made the stay special was Lily. She was so kind and helpful the entire time—genuinely one of the nicest hosts I’ve met. You can tell she truly cares about making sure guests have a great experience. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and breakfast was made to order every morning (and really tasty!). We also rented a scooter directly from the ecolodge, which made exploring the area super easy. If you’re heading to Ninh Binh, I can’t recommend this place enough. It was the highlight stay of my whole trip."
