"The home was exactly as described. While the weather was quite hot while we were there, don't be afraid of the lack of air conditioning (normal for this area) - just open the windows at night and close them in the morning and the temperature will be pleasant throughout the day.All the information we needed was communicated by email and by a book located in the main area. "

"Very comfortable and warm. Cabin is comfortable, lodge building is very close. There is no food in the winter so you have to go to town for meals. We did not mind we were going out every day anyway. Absolutely beautiful area. Snowmobile trip up at heart 6 ranch was the best. All day trip with lunch. Lots of wildlife everywhere. We saw elk, moose, and Buffalo up close."

"Cozy cabin with great grounds for walking and enjoying the snow. Good lodge space to hunker down and get some work done outside of the city. Friendly host and amazing breakfast pastries. Want to come back in the summer for fly fishing and dude ranch experience."

"We truly enjoyed the Alpenhof and felt it was a great value for our stay. Location is excellent, staff very kind and helpful and room was very comfortable and well kept. Overall it does show some age in terms of things are “fixable” as far as upkeep and aesthetics go such as carpets in the common areas that are so worn and filthy looking. Bottom line would stay here again and so nostalgic, great character snd cozy…hope they keep up the quality. "
