    THE SPACE:
    Stylish and comfortable with easy access to all you need.
    Fully equipped kitchen with modern quality appliances and cookware. Basic cooking supplies provided and starter breakfast pack of cereals and milk. Complimentary range of tea and coffee (instant, plunger, stovetop espresso machine)
    Bedroom includes luxurious queen bed with quality hotel linen, reading lamps and TV.
    Living space includes 2.5 seater leather couch, smart TV with Netflix, soundbar with Bluetooth connectivity, and dining table.
    Bathroom includes recently upgraded compact shower, combination washer/dryer.
    A cosy balcony with outdoor setting leads off the living area - perfect for a morning cuppa.
    Unlimited Wi-Fi throughout.
    Free parking available on site for all vehicle sizes.
    The apartment is a 25 minute drive (self-drive, taxi or shuttle bus) from the Hobart International Airport.

    HEATING / COOLING
    For those warm days (very few in Hobart!) there is ample air flow by opening windows or using the desk fan.
    On those chilly days there are three panel heaters available and an electric blanket on the bed.
    There is no heat pump / air conditioning.

    THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
    Arwen's Abode is in BATTERY POINT - Hobart's village feel residential area characterised by historic buildings. The popular Jackman & McCross Bakery and Cafe make a mean coffee and is less than a 5 minute walk; as well as the infamous Da Angelos Italian restaurant, Thai and Indian options too. Florist, hairdresser and boutique homewares stores. Great to just walk around the village enjoying the architecture and coastal views.

    200 metres away is SALAMANCA - The historic, creative and cultural hub of Hobart featuring top restaurants, bars, Saturday markets, artist studios, arts studios, theatre, supermarket stocking fresh gourmet Tasmanian produce, and a wide range of stores.

    The HOBART WATERFRONT adjacent to Salamanca is a short 5-10 minute walk and features more top restaurants and bars, home to world class festivals and events such as Dark Mofo, Taste of Tasmania, Wooden Boat Festival, Sydney to Hobart yacht race, Festival of Voices. Also launching point for ferries to range of destinations including MONA.

What a great location with easy access to walk to many attractions in Hobart. The apartment was comfortable with good amenities and easy to find. The parking was in the street behind the apartments but still convenient. Overall an enjoyable location in Hobart.

Visited Hobart for the Wooden Boat Festival and other events . This was an excellent location just removed from the crowds attending but close enough to stroll down to the events and surrounding attractions..Harbour views allowed relaxed viewing of on water activities.The accommodation lacked nothing.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The location was great, just a short walk to many places. The apartment was very clean and tidy, and had all the little extras you need. The heaters and electric blankets were very useful! Highly recommended. Thank you!

Wonderful short stay in Battery Point

The apartment was bright, really well-equipped and ideally located. We enjoyed a couple of mights after a multi-day hike and everything we could have needed was provided. Carol communicated really clearly about what the apartment offered and the check-in process was seamless.

Walking distance to everything

Can be a bit noisy when people arrived as the ramp to front door is in front of your verandah and the entrance to building is behind the wall where you sit in the unit. Stopped watching the movie as a busload arrived then the noise in floor above as they settled in with their cases. Bedroom quiet but not fully darkened due to light outside on building. Walking distance to Salamanca Markets. Best Fried Rice ever around the corner! Comfy bed, clean unit,great fresh coffee although we used our own. Take your own jam,honey,butter etc for toast next morning. A 2 night stay was perfect.
