The open-plan living and dining area is bright, welcoming and warmed by a large Daikin heat pump, with the option to enjoy the ambience of the wood heater using the supplied kindling, firelighters and firewood. A separate, fully equipped kitchen includes an induction cooktop, oven, air fryer, dishwasher and everything you need for relaxed meals at home.

Three of the bedrooms feature large, comfortable beds, while the fourth includes bunk beds ideal for kids or extra guests. The spacious bathroom includes a walk-in shower with a clean, modern finish. The laundry includes a washer, dryer, iron and vacuum, with simple instructions for use.

Upstairs is the true hero of the home — a stunning sunroom framed by glass, with a large dining table, ceiling fan and panoramic views over the River Derwent. Taroona is one of Hobart’s most peaceful coastal suburbs, known for its leafy streets, beautiful beaches and relaxed community feel. Just 12 minutes from the CBD, it offers the ideal balance between convenience and tranquillity. You’ll be close to local walking tracks, waterfront lookouts, Long Beach in Sandy Bay, and the iconic Shot Tower. With quick access to cafés, markets, parks and everything the greater Hobart area offers, it’s a brilliant location for families, couples or groups wanting a quiet retreat close to the city.

Taroona is best explored by car, with the property offering a spacious driveway for up to three vehicles. Hobart’s Metro bus network also services the area, providing easy transport into the CBD, Sandy Bay and surrounding suburbs. Taxis, Uber and car-hire companies are readily available, while coastal drives, beaches and attractions are all within a short distance.

Wood heater available for confident users; extra firewood is stacked at the front of the property. The spiral staircase to the upstairs sunroom has narrow steps — please take care. Outdoor cushions must be brought inside after use to prevent weather damage.
