We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit. Unit is up a long narrow set of stairs. Door opens directly from the car park. There is a view in the distance but you need to look over the car park and over flow carpark plus some houses. The view of a he church tower and farm hills. The bar is directly below so great for dinner options. The unit has sloping roof so beware it’s tight getting around the bed. Unit had toaster and kettle no microwave. Plenty of cutlery plates and cups. It’s set for 4 but this would be very tight. Lounge is a snug 2 so the rest are on dining chairs. As a one night stay got option if you’re not dragging a large suitcase up the stairs.

Great accommodation and the pub food lovely. Very convenient and the room had everything.Quiet and clean. Richmond a great place to stay , so pleased we decided to stay here and not Hobart!

Great location. Dinner in the pub was fantastic, and the room was clean and quiet and had everything. Perfect for our first few nights in Tasmania. No need to look for anywhere else…book The Richmond!

We had a good stay. Plenty of parking on the property. The common toilets and showers for the budget options may not suit everyone, but it’s great for the price. The restaurant and pub downstairs offer big meal servings; the only place open until 8:30pm. Lots of coffee places around. Staff are excellent. Pretty old town.

The room was okay to mediocre. They need to buy a new carpet and we found the bed difficult to uncomfortable. The pub is a neat place with beer and food. It has dignity and is in a beautiful town.

Beautiful apartment with plenty of parking and right near a lovely park near the river. We had great meals at the hotel, the staff were brilliant and went out of their way to provide us with a good experience. Will absolutely stay again next time we visit Tasmania

Located centrally in Richmond, this hotel offers excellent dining options. It's walking distance to all the main historic sites, including Richmond Bridge. There should've been a queen-sized bed in our room - it was certainly large enough for one
