Beautiful hotel but challenging to find dinner without a reservation. The gardens are a 20 min walk away. The staff were kind and helpful. Room was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was the best we had in Japan. Happy hour was nice. The lounge was comfortable to relax in. Well situated for the sights of Kanazawa and an easy 20 min walk to the station.
