Friendly staff, nice location, nice and clean room. Only negative thing to say is about thin walls/noise but it didn't bother me much really.

Place is great!! Perfect overnight stay for our family during a ring road trip..

We recommend this guesthouse for your stay in the south-eastern part of Iceland. It was for the second time we chose this guesthouse and once we come back to this part of Iceland, we will definitely choose it again. Our room was very nice, spacious and comfortable. It was perfectly clean and well prepared for our arrival. Location of the guesthouse is excellent, many interesting places in this part of Iceland are close and to be reached easily by car. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and...

Stayed for 1 night for our roundtrip of Iceland's ring road. Very friendly hostess, clean and bright room with a nice bathroom, good central location. Do notice that the restaurants in the city are quickly fully booked for the night. We were lucky enough to get a table with 20 minutes wait, but multiple parties were turned away after us.

Great place to stay in Hofn.. free hot chocolate and cookies as well.. lovely shower and huge kitchen, so a good spot to stay and explore the area.

Has a view of one of the “tails” of Vatnajökull, the great glacier. We drove up to it on a 4x4 vehicle road and didn’t see a soul. Not far from where the tourists swarm. There was a sign in the very small bathroom (tiny sink and shower)asking to limit shower time because of a lack of hot water. But hey, it is a farm run place. The milk comes from their own cows and they make their own ice cream.😋 Limited WiFi in the room but ok in the restaurant.

The rooms were spacious and very clean. The family that owns the Arnanes Country Hotel was very gracious and we enjoyed a lovely horse ride on their property.

The room was excellent, the staff was very warm and the breakfast was perfect (the bread was really really good).

The hotel is situated conveniently close to Hofn (about 10 minutes drive). The restaurant is very charming with good food and a great view of the mountains. The room was comfortable, clean and had a kettle. The shower & toilets were just down the corridor and also clean and in in good order. Staff were helpful and polite. Good Wifi.

I had just visited Jökulsárlón and was enthralled with the views. I was ultimately exhausted; showered and fell asleep. The room was so peaceful, and such a wonderful way to end a long day.

Cute little place. Relatively affordable for this region of Iceland. Has a small, but great kitchen with a big fridge, stove, etc, two bathrooms for a few rooms. They even provide a bit of breakfast which was appreciated. Right next door to a big grocery store. About an hour to the iceberg lagoons.
