Cabin with lake views at Hallingskarvet ski center

Even as you approach Tullero, the natural surroundings begin to unfold. The cabin area combines old cabins with new buildings, and right outside the door is a small local alpine center. The house overlooks the lake where the mountains end—colorful in the summer, covered in white in the winter.



The kitchen-living room is the heart of the house. It features high ceilings and large windows facing the garden and the covered patio. This is the only room in the house without an upper level, so even with a large group, it doesn’t feel cramped. Whether you’re sitting on the couch or cooking, you’re all in the same space.



The covered patio catches the afternoon sun in both summer and winter. You can relax here no matter the season.



Hallingskarvet Ski Center is right next to the cabin, offering ski-in/ski-out access. Geilo, voted Norway’s best ski area, is about 30 minutes away. You’ll find local hiking trails leading toward Hallingtjørn and Hivjusfossen. In Geilo, there’s a climbing park and mountain biking in the summer, as well as shops, restaurants, and cafés in the pedestrian zone.
